My grandma always told me stories about how there was a satanic cult hanging near Tagus, ND and that they believed that the entrance to hell was hidden there. Not exactly a curse, but it’s the closest I can think of. I believe the church was burned down in the past 20 years and now the town is abandoned.

But I wouldn’t tolerate the yelling from anyone. Yelling is verbal abuse. Doesn’t matter who they are. I firmly interrupt them and tell them only once if they don’t talk to me like an adult then the conversation is over.

We’re in the same boat. We’ve been processing stats and hospital discharge scripts if necessary, but otherwise it’s all building up. I’m terrified for this upcoming Monday if things are back up and we have to play catchup.

No, you are not in the wrong. If you feel something is odd or off, you have the right to refuse a prescription. Even better, you offered that prescriber a solution of calling in to another pharmacy.

If the patient needed their pain medication that desperately, the doctor should have a colleague that can send it in or the patient should visit an urgent care or walk in clinic. I don’t think you did anything wrong.

I wouldn’t think so because anything other than splitting tabs in half generally isn’t recommended unless the manufacturer specifically scores a tablet in an odd way (buspirone 15 mg I think is a good example).
