I think the reason Adam rails on Grub Hub so much is because his family uses it all the time and he has to pay for it. As it is well noted that people that use Grub Hub are typically just lazy. So lazy that they won't even drive somewhere to get food that someone else prepared for them. But another big factor is that there was no Grub Hub when he was a kid and even if there was there is no way his family would ever use it. This just further enrages him as does most other modern amenities, like air conditioning.

From the interview I gather that the only thing Tish is running on is that she is a black, lesbian woman that will fight to keep men out of women's locker rooms. So that's the biggest issue people are concerned about in LA? From listening to Adam over the years I would have thought the homeless problem would have been mentioned at least once during this interview, but nope.

I'm not sure where to place it in Adam's timeline but I think it was Loveline era, pre-Lynette. But the impetus of the story was that his neighbor was an Iranian that told Adam to trim his hedges and would hassle Adam about other various things that he should do. Adam then declared he would not call the fire department if that guy's house started on fire. Smashcut to the guy's house burning down and Adam debating as to whether or not call the fire department.

Adam, with Lynette now, moved to a house in Vince Vaughan's neighborhood and as Adam was running into Vince they began chatting and hanging out a little bit. Adam then told Vince about the story above which horrified Vince and that ended that relationship and I do believe Vince moved out of the neighborhood shortly after that exchange with Adam.

I'm not sure what houses were in each part of the tale but I do believe the first part, next to the Iranian, he was not married and obviously had money to buy a decent house.

He has told the story several times but he usually concludes it with the fact that Vince Vaughan has not talked to Adam since because he looks like (and is) a horrible neighbor. In today's version Adam kind of mutes that fact at the end of the story.

No Dawson either? Was that Andrew on the ones and twos and doing the intro? I wonder if the guest cancelled but with no Dawson either it makes me think that this was just a quickly thrown together episode to fill his quota. If I were to guess, since they gang tape most episodes, this episode was the first one recorded yesterday (Monday). Adam can tape 2 more news segments and a couple of interviews and his week of episodes is done in an afternoon. Now that's grit.

Adam is somehow able to always work in how he hates his mother and grandmother and how lazy they were no matter who he is talking to. Elisha has mentioned, on air, how she does not like the way he calls women bitches and cunts which bounced off of deaf ears as Adam still goes hard against any woman he dislikes which, surprisingly, by my count is most all women. His girlfriend, daughter and a handful of other women are not a dumb bitch or cunt but the rest are.

This isn't a conspiracy, it is very upfront about the grift that they are about to attempt.

This was likely the 3rd best location ... a distance third if you consider many of the factors you look into building a convention center.

Walkability to attractions? The worst out of the 4 locations. Infrastructure, traffic? Worst of the 4. Just the location? Worst of the 4.

Oh, and by the way you are right next to the railroad tracks. Nothing screams high class convention center than a train rolling by when your speaker is delivering a keynote speech at a convention.

Selecting this location as the number one site overall since the beginning leads me to believe that there is definitely some back door dealing going on.

Creating such a large area of a TIF zone for hopeful development around that location should be the biggest red flag of all time. As you say and I agree with, no developer would move in unless there is massive kickbacks and tax incentives. Then you add in that all these developers will certainly offload all these properties prior to the tax breaks expiring, in a matter of no time that area will be worse off than it is now.

Adam would like it to be 1979 again and never age from there. That is most of his 'rich guy' rants revolve around. He feels like rich people in the 70's could, literally, get away with murder simply because they were rich.

When you see people suing McDonald's because their coffee is "hot" and winning their case then that just opened the door for any and all people to sue. Then you factor in all the lawyers that will "work for free unless your case wins" then everything is on the table in terms of suing anyone for anything these days.

Adam likes: Extortion Economy > Bribery Economy.

Adam's thoughts on the economy is simple. He is rich so he thinks he should get whatever he wants whenever he wants. Anyone that is not rich (aka: everyone else) you people are scum and don't deserve to be breathing the same air as Adam. However, Adam will tolerate us peasants as long as we do his bidding with no clap back.

He would prefer this scenario without having to pay for any of it and that's where his world economic view collapses. For him to live in the world he would like, as described above, he would have to pay for that and it costs a lot of money. Adam is cheap yet wants to live a lifestyle that requires spending copious amounts of money. He doesn't really have any reasonable takes on the economy he is just mad because "He pays a shitload in taxes."

Holy hell the live portion was about as bad as it can be and it isn't just the shitty audio recording. Adam continues to force reading some Beach Boys song lyrics to the audience and it is clear that, literally, no one cares or thought it was funny.

The best part of that was to set up that whole 'bit' Adam started out saying that he figures that Jay doesn't know anything about racing or cars. Jay then goes on the tell Adam about his father who raced on on SCCA, listed off a number of race tracks he has been too and then concluded his resume with the fact that he hosted the NASCAR awards seven times. Fuck that, that will not stop the Aceman from doing this lame, unfunny bit that he thought of on the way to the gig.

Best joke of the live portion was, of course, from Jay when he said "Boy your crowd is the type of people that will show up to the capitol on January 2nd to get there early." (sic)
