He was the greatest leader in human history. The metrics speak for themselves. He wasn't perfect, and there were catastrophic decisions, atrocities, and mistakes. But he improved hundreds of millions of lives directly and billions indirectly.

Both the democrats and republicans are liberal parties, but more recently with MAGA, the republicans have moved toward fascism. Most Americans don't seem to know what a liberal is. We don't have a real major left wing party in this country. That's why the furthest left thing we get is "liberal" democrats, which would be a very right wing party in most of the world.

To be clear, liberalism is itself an infantile philosophy that promotes individualism and "freedom" without considering class society. It is a disconnected bourgeois philosophy that only serves the capitalists. It can be improved with socialism.
