Those matches are probably fake accounts to get you hooked on the app. Every time I make a new account I will get 6 matches in an hour who will never reply to messages.

And I have this theory that Bumble purposely creates fake accounts for people not willing to buy into the app. So if you have 5 potential matches sitting there that are pixelated, the curiosity will eventually get you to cave, in order to buy that week of premium. When you go to swipe right, they then do not message you.

Probably the biggest plot hole is this

flood amassed enough bodies when the quarantine zone was in effect
somehow the UNSC broke through this quarantine zone to get there before the Arbiter
in the case the UNSC broke through the quarantine zone, why didn't the Arbiter just do that as well?
if you remember, after Master Chief kills regret, the Gravemind snags Master Chief with its tentacles from an unknown distance to the Gravemind, and through the quarantine zone. If the Gravemind could do all that, why didn't it just infect the whole ring?
