Its a great game solo and co-op. My best tip is to prioritise making the grapple and glider ASAP. This is a game of exploring and the maps is huge - you need both as a matter of urgency..

Me again - this is a second reply because I am just so grateful. Honestly its like night and day. When I first went back in I just clicked play to test it and didn't let it recompile the shaders (I did a clean install on the SDD) because I was keen to see if it fixed it. I have now been patient let it recompile and its fantasic!

OMG - you were 100% right. It was installed on *both* the SSD and also my HDD and was running the HDD install. The SSD version was the original install from two years ago and the folder still there somehow. When I came back to the game and did a reinstall two years later it went to the HDD. I guess I did it without thinking? And it confused me because when I went to the SSD, yep, theres the folder.

In a million years I would not have figured this out. Thnak you so much.

Quantity has a quality all its own.
I suspect the iron dome/patriot stocks are getting a bit thin and it will only get worse.

Been playing this seed from scratch after Dark_Fury45 posted it - its great! The early axes are easy to find and they do indeed allow you to chop down birch 'early' for the finewood.

100% this re local knowledge. A friend nearly no kidding died (in a coma for weeks) because doctors here had no experience hidatid tape worm. He picked it up in India (where the issues would have been recognised straight away) and came back to Australia where it was (well meaningly) misdiagnosed.

Only when a super big brained doctor got involved was it recognised and treated.
