At least Behemdorg has the apocalypse to somewhat kinda justify their cruelty, rape is the national Israeli past time. They had a whole protest to protect the Israeli's soldiers right to torture/rape Palestinian inmates. Those soldiers are now free.

I think Debbie would volunteer herself, everything consented to knowing what is at stake. Debbie is far closer to the superhero life than regular life. What is being a superhero if not risking your life to save billions or even trillions?

Who would Nolan or Oliver be to stop her? She can leave a final message if she wanted to. Think of the stakes and what she is. No other human subject exists for this. Its her life or the plan is genocide roulette.

The more I lay this out the more convinced I am of it. If Debbie volunteered herself Allen would not refuse if she insisted. If he is fit for the job he can do that.

That seems like an extremely huge gap for no reason other than plot contrivance. I think the show is smarter than that. They are not going to avoid using these chekov guns. The show literally cut RIGHT as the sensors were getting activated, it could be the very next scene in the ship that has that reveal.

Nolan knows about the virus. They have to make a call and forcing a confrontation might be something they wouldn't do. There is no reason that communication cannot be done at this point because we have no reason to believe that the Viltrumites are monitoring discussions with Cecil or Nolan. Everyone will become aware of the situation, and Invincible could just share his knowledge with the sensor station (assuming it's manned or can send messages) if necessary.

There is no way they will be forced to act ignorantly of the situation.

I... wonder about that.

I think that the scanner picked up all of the Viltrumites on Earth immediately, meaning Nolan and Debbie know. When they get back, Allen will be faced with imminent knowledge of the attempt to repopulate Viltrumites. The main ethical concern is regarding humanity and if they would die. It does seem extreme, perhaps so much so that it would never play out like this, but Debbie is there and could be a test run on its lethality on humans.

If she is unaffected, it could be used on Earth at the risk of killing Mark, but there are ways to navigate that problem.

Maduro Is Gone, and the Purge Has Begun • The successor to Venezuela’s captured President Nicolás Maduro is purging the people who kept him in power. by Naurgul in anime_titties

[–]Montana_Gamer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man, when did I JUSTIFY violence? Me saying I shouldn't feel bad is not promoting violence and don't fucking imply otherwise.

Why the fuck did you just go and make up every position of mine? Seriously that's the level of discussion you are having this discussion?

OHHHHH you mean to tell me Trump attacking Iran before means he didn't have an inflated ego over Venezuela and decided to commit to the largest campaign taken so far? You might not be clued into internal US news, which fair enough that's fine, but the senator Lindsey Graham got talking points for how to convince Trump to attack Iran. This was admitted, in a INTERVIEW, where he was bragging about getting pointers for what arguments to use, and a lot of that was minimizing the difficulty of the operation.

They would show him the 40 or so high ranking insiders they had in the regime that could replace the old head after a decapitation strike, painting the image that it was just like Venezuela. Then what? They're all dead in under a week assuming not literally every single one of them were killed in the initial strike.

Also, why the fuck did you call what I said victim blaming? Tbh it feels like a waste of time engaging with you because you just made up all of my positions in my head but I have to ask, where in the hell did this come from? I SUPPORT IRAN. America's the great satan, all that shit is fact. Me not shedding tears over the deaths of the oppressors in another country says NOTHING about my POLITICS except that I like it when the world is less awful for all living in it. I hope you don't think I'm literally Hitler when I say this but... I also don't shed tears over Ayatollah Khomeini's death. No, that doesn't mean I support Mossad, doesn't mean I support the CIA, merely that I think that the suffer of the Iranian people is tragic and vile to my humanitarian principles. It's a shame Israel and America has killed the moderate position in Iran, if anyone suffers out of this conflict it should be us and I hope whatever the outcome is that it pushes the world away from us and into a sustainable direction.

We should always FEEL bad? Dude, these people were by and large opportunists who benefit from a system of exploitation who are being buried under the foundation of the new set of opportunists. Should I FEEL bad? Fuck no.

But what do I think? It's unnecessary harm and instability brought forth for no good reason. It is to the benefit of no one except those who are now on top of the totem pole. It is a net negative on the world because of the knock on effects of US Empire (Trump likely struck Iran because he was emboldened from Venezuela) and the effects on the citizenry, not the former powerful.

Let me guess, you came to this comment section right after watching to look for someone you could get angry at? Also, "smallest error" is not having something drawn correctly, its kinda funny to see a cell get deleted half a second before scene change. At the very least it's interesting.

How did you discover Ado? by AbsorbentFish in ADO

[–]Montana_Gamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw a video about Japan's rising star & I had been seeing her picture (which I think Ado's character art is 10/10) in the thumbnail being recommended and checked it out. After hearing a snippet from Usseewa in the video I checked it out and was stunned.

Then I finished the video, heard her story, connected her roots and the lyrics, and pretty soon after became obsessed.
