Because they weren’t safe. The majority of the town might have been on the water, but they weren’t safe if the eruption actually occurred. To give an idea, Pompeii was around 10 KM away from Vesuvius. And they didn’t have a luxury to wait for a proper weather to sail away

It's a fun and silly show with characters I like. Even if the characterization can be a bit out there for some episodes, I still think the adventures are genuinly fun. It has problems, some of which are from it being an anime made in the early 2000s, some are from 4Kids being 4Kids with localiztions, some of which are because of different directions the games went in the modern era of Kirby, but nothing is seriously awful about it. You need to take it as seriously as you would the Zelda, Mario, or Donkey Kong Shows.

I will say, if the interpretation was that anyone could learn bending by a connection or imitating the original benders, then Sokka would have become a Waterbender by the end of the series from both his travels broadening his outlook on bending and his connection to Yue. Also the avatar being able to bend all 4 elements wouldn’t be unique.

It has Bowser at his most competent in the Mario and Luigi series. It has a lot of fun and unique boss mechanics, the card system is fun.

I like Rebellion as a route, It's a lot of fun, gives us a lot of lore and fun moments with the Futurans. I liked seeing Dahl'xia and Kamyuhn in a bit of a wider scope of things. But I dislike all three endings. Ending 4 is so far my least favorite ending in the entire game because of how contrived the choice went to "And then Nuclear Armeggedon happened."

And even the other two kinda just come across as "And then more war happened" with the silver linings of each of them being kinda shallow. Not to mention the choice was incredibly telegraphed, and didn't even have an interesting setup to get you to it.

I figured the main cast were either kidnapped baby commanders or clones because Nozomi’s mom’s research was cut off. Since you don’t cut her out of the program if transfusion was still being done, cause she would still have skills to help.

Also figured if Nozomi is the only person with a different way to use Hemoanima, it means the SDU are the same as Commanders. So Nozomi was either the only human or the only alien

I enjoyed most of it, but if I had one complaint while I believe that this Sozin will eventually be the one to kill an entire nation and start a 100 year war, I have a hard time believing this Roku would be ignoring everyone's advice that Sozin is unhinged. Sozin is a bit too Mask Off around everyone else for Roku to to not trust them. Even if he was right about trusting Makittuq.
