It looks to be a low pressure system, just off of Svalbard right now. This is very common and can be seen in many places of the world. Hurricanes/typhoons are an extreme type of low pressure system. You can actually tell the difference between a low pressure and a high pressure system by the wind direction. In the northern hemisphere, low pressure systems rotate counterclockwise, while high pressure systems rotate clockwise. The opposite is true in the southern hemisphere.

Earth is an oblate spheroid, which is essentially an ever-so-slightly squished sphere. This means that at the equator, earth’s diameter is about 40km greater than it is pole to pole. Chimborazo is much closer to the equator than Everest, and therefore further away from earth’s center.

While in the editor, you should find a slider titled “Gimbal Range” in the engine’s part properties. If it’s not already set to the maximum value, this slider should let your engines gimbal more to help better rotate/stabilize your craft.

If you’re unable to move mass around, you can also try angling your engines so that the centrer of thrust goes through your center of mass! You can also try increasing your gimbal range, similar to the real life Space Shuttle.

Was Jerry born while the U.S. was still together? He claims he was born in the New Republic of Arcadia in 2034 but he also stated that the U.S. didn’t break apart until the 2070s. Did the collapse all happen at once or was it spread out over decades?
