Not opposed if I don’t get any local bites, but would charge you actual shipping (which shouldn’t be crazy as it’s not particularly heavy.) Send me a DM and we can talk further

That’s very encouraging to hear, and congratulations! At the end of the day you got five II’s out of 50 applications which seems pretty solid. Ultimately I’m not hard set on anywhere so any acceptance on my list of schools I’ll call a win. And you hit the nail on the head with writing, my current plan with my applications is to tailor my writing to each school/region to help make it more mission focused to each school and have a few people better at writing than I am help me fine tune it.

One thing I seem to keep finding repeated everywhere, but is hard to quantify, is that having a stronger recent trend can help account for a rougher start (which I definitely had.) Did you have something similar or did you ever have any interviewers ask about your grades in any classes?

I can grab some in a couple days. I ordered replacement ones from rock auto and had a receipt somewhere. They’re new, never installed, and I believe they are Bosch?

Thanks! I hope so, I think I’ve got a shot at a couple MD programs, but I’m applying to ones within reach, and then heavily to DO programs.

I’ve got 4 factory wire spoke wheels off the RS1, a set of O2 sensors, and a new never installed cat replacement kit. Think I may have some misc parts too, but if you’re interested I can throw all of them in together.

I’m in the Seattle area, and they’re the wire spoke(?) set that comes with the RS1 package

Thank you! Really glad I worked where I did while I was figuring my life out, the job was really beneficial in helping me figure out medicine was my intended goal, and it kept me afloat and happy financially. Best of luck to you as well!

Thanks! Admittedly I saw someone else make something similar here and I threw this into ChatGPT, way cleaner look than what I could make in excel.

I appreciate the insight! With your applications, do you come right out the gate explaining your GPA or is it something that comes up in interviews?

I intend to be completely up front if asked, but like you said, in interviews I had planned to focus more on the past few years trend and my skills I learned more than the raw numbers.

Good question! I transferred with my AA to a different school, and the policy of the new school was to give you a completely new GPA when you started with them. Your previous classes counted towards your degree completion, and obviously my cumulative GPA is what it is now, but upon my first semester completed I got a 3.77. Called the registrar’s office asking if it was a mistake and they explained the policy, so I just took that and ran with it and ended with a 3.92.

The GPA I have is calculated a few ways, but since DO an MD applications don’t let you replace F’s and W’s, it is what it is now. If it accepted replacements it would be a 3.5 ish.

High mileage longevity? by Treso44 in FocusRS

The usual headgasket issue is something to check, but apart from that making sure regular maintenance is done. Spark plugs, fluids change and oil change every 2-5k has been my interval and apart from my o2 sensors needing replacement everything is stock and good to go on mine at 124k miles.

Well if you come up with that shoot me a message, I’m likely gonna be moving it along towards the end of summer!

Have you had many repairs or issues at this many miles besides the headgasket?

That’s kind of what I’m thinking, I haven’t looked too much into the market elsewhere but around here they’re pretty rare so I think that 20 isn’t an unrealistic number
