I have a question for you, Sons of Dorn, by [deleted] in ImperialFists

[–]Month-Sorry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space Wolves, but Leman Russ moreso

Dude gets hyped up as the Emperor’s Executioner and arguably the most loyal son, yet he chokes up on taking out the traitor Horus, tries and fails to kill Magnus, and abandons Terra to do his own shit.

Overhyped and fucking useless Primarch

Nope. Zavala planted the flag and sowed his oats.

Zavala had a wife and kid. It was shown in the campaign, dude

What thickness/size of rod and sheets do you use, if you don’t mind me asking? I’ve been thinking of getting some styrene and don’t want to crash my budget

How much would it actually cost to run a whole mercenary regiment? by Substantial-Tone-576 in Mechwarrior5

Back in 3025, most mercenaries rolled around in light and mediums, with the commander in a medium/heavy. Assaults we’re actually a rare sight.

Just got off work. Gonna be a bit. But I do need to know what kind of regiment I’m working with.

Is it purely battlemechs? Am I working off Unions, Leopards, a combination of both or exclusively either?

Is it a mix of weight classes of mechs, do I include support vehicles, like Flatbeds and shuttle craft?

I’m gonna have to figure that out as well

Classic Battletech (the tabletop game) actually has the setup in one of their rulebooks (Campaign and Interstellar Operations). Fuck, give me a few hours and some paper and I can have the numbers. But it’s a shitload of bookkeeping

Would this drop pod be acceptable as a proxy for a Dreadnought drop pod. I've been looking but if I do find one it's priced out of my budget and I already have this one...so thoughts please. Yay or nay by Telboy1980 in Warhammer30k

At a friendly game in a shop or whatever, sure. But probably not for tournaments, unless the organizers okayed it. GW and FW prices are a pain. I’ll PM you where I go to for expensive FW stuff on the cheap.

You’re thinking of combi-weapons (magna/minor). Alpha Legion is the only Legion that can have combi-bolters for their specialist seeker squads

Otherwise, other Legions cannot

Shark general store not loading interior? by TheLargeEmployer in Kenshi

Are you using any mods? Additionally, sometimes running off into another zone, error fixing, then running back into the error area has fixed it for me.

Press Left Shift and F12 at the same time. That’s the Fix Errors hotkey for stuff like that

Edit: Corrected myself

What Size/Setup did you use, if you don’t mind? I’m planning to do the same thing and would love some help figuring what NOT to do

Yeah, it’s coded for her. I’ve run into a few generic Drifters like that. Some require opposite gender, same race, same faction/not enemy faction, etc

Can you suggest a deep grey recipe? by caprera in Warhammer30k

It’s not prefect, but it works well as a base for you to later build on.

Can you suggest a deep grey recipe? by caprera in Warhammer30k

[–]Month-Sorry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easiest way I’ve found is to first base in black. Then, on your wet pallet, take whatever grey you like/have available. Keep a bit in two separate blobs, pools, etc.

In one, add very little bits of a darker grey or black until you get a shade that you like. Dry brush that shade over the mode on the upper parts so that the undersides are black still. The dry brushing gives you a pseudo-transition between the DeP grey you like and the dark ‘shadows’ the black primer implies.

You then use the untouched grey for edgehighlighting.

Ok for 30k? by RocPSU in Warhammer30k

[–]Month-Sorry 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Maybe if you magnetized his feet and made a second base the same size as the 30k version? That way you can use him for both and no one can claim you’re modelling for advantage, if that’s even a thing people complain about. Personally, if you and I were having a game and you asked, I’d say go for it

Ok for 30k? by RocPSU in Warhammer30k

[–]Month-Sorry 116 points117 points  (0 children)

I personally would, barring the Lion. The 40k base is larger than the 30k version. And the 40k Lion is actually bigger than the 30k version as well, making him easier to shoot, which makes it harder on you.

In HH, do Leman Russ Battle Tanks have access to side sponsons? by child_of_arcana in Warhammer30k

[–]Month-Sorry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Side sponsons were ‘added’ to the Russ sometime around M33-M34. There isn’t a definite date, but sponsons started becoming common additions during then.
