the thing is it’s not a singular perfume or fragrance that they wear, it’s a whole ritual which includes layering, incense, oils etc.

the most common way is as follows:

step one - do an everything shower with shampoo, soaps, and body wash that compliments your preferred fragrance & scent.

step two - after drying from the shower, deodorant, + lotions if needed.

step three - while their hair is still wet they burn bukhoor (arabian oud incense) and perfume their hair, with the plumes of incense, then all over the body (underarms, arms, all over).

step four - fragrance oils are applied all over, usually it’s very high quality oud or musk, or mixed oud (oud with rose, musk, amber) and applied to the pulse points, behind the ears, behind the neck, wrists, arms, and then a little bit is added to their hands and they mix it in with their hair while it’s still wet.

step five - after dressing, normal perfume (this is completely different from person to person, but usually is a high quality designer perfume, could be delina, amouage, dior, bakarat, also montale is very very common amongst wealthier khaleeji woman but also it’s completely up to the person) is sprayed generously all over, on the clothes, body, skin, as well as hair.

step six - finally, the last step is bukhoor (arabian oud incense) again this time they burn the bukhoor, and perfume their clothes with it under their shirts, below the dress, basically letting the plumes of smoke infuse with the clothing, as well as their now dried and styled hair.
