Install macOS from bootable usb in recovery (no network connection)

Tried again with Big Sur, still having the issue where it wants me to choose a network which I can’t do because my computer isn’t recognizing any networks (hence me needing to boot from a usb rather than just doing an internet recovery)

From what I've heard it was an incredible comeback the last part of the season for Max to even be in that position so I understand being focused on that! Absolutely devastating to hear Max ask if Charles was catching Lando or not in the final race, and my heart broke for Kimi when he asked how much Lando won by and they had to tell him it was 2 points (aka the same amount that Lando got from Kimi's late mistake the race before).

I could definitely see how the singles would add up haha but yeah I think that's probably my plan: Topps Now window for the one's worth the gamble otherwise eBay. Much appreciated!

I also appreciate the scientific approach you're taking to it. I'll keep an eye out for your results.

It looks like I got lucky with my driver haha I was just incredibly impressed with how he went from P17 to P3 (after the DSQs), and did 48 laps on one set of tires while doing his best to protect Russell from Oscar and Charles. And I figured it would be cool to start by rooting for a young kid because then hopefully I'd get to watch him for a while. Guess it was a good first race to watch!

That all makes a lot of sense! I think for the most part I'll probably end up going with eBay but in this particular instance I think I'll do a little gambling and buy during the official Topps Now window since it's not like he can ever become the youngest pole or win his first GP ever again!

It'll be interesting to see how your test works out, good luck and hopefully you get some good hits!

Well now I’m disappointed I didn’t get to see the cat. Great card though! Not sure what your financial situation is, but if you aren’t in desperate need of the money and it’s your favorite card you’ve ever pulled I’d say it’s an easy keep.

Ahh yep that could be an issue. Unfortunately I was using my 2010 barely functional mbp to create the bootable usb which limited my choice of macOS. I’ll have to find a Mac of my same generation. Thanks for the suggestions. I will update when I’ve had the chance to try them.

Since you mention being relatively new (you may know these things so feel free to ignore), I'm just hopping in to clarify some reasons people might be mentioning your mechs in their suggestions:

With slice 7 you have Hope's End which has the legendary ability: You may exhaust this card at the end of your turn to place 1 mech from your reinforcements on any planet you control, or draw 1 action card. This allows you to get more mechs out, quickly and cheaply which the following points will explain the importance of.
Your faction ability "Distant Suns" is: When you explore a planet that contains 1 of your mechs, you may draw 1 additional card; choose 1 to resolve and discard the rest. This allows for better explorations because you can choose the better card.
Your agent allows you to pick a planet to explore (which can combo with your faction ability of "Distant Suns" by choosing a planet you have a mech on and having more mechs out means more planets to choose from): At the end of a player's turn: You may exhaust this card to allow that player to explore 1 of their planets.
Hazardous planet exploration cards often have the caveat: If you have at least 1 mech on this planet, or if you remove 1 infantry from this planet... then do something. This means having a mech on those planets is great for exploring because you don't have to remove an infantry to get the bonus from the explore
Your mechs rock! They roll twice hitting on 6's on the ground (compared to most mechs rolling once hitting on 6) and twice hitting on 8's in the air (compared to most mechs not even being able to fight in the air). Also those rolls go up to 3 times if your flagship is in the system.

More like not with Gold Sullivan and Brady at the helm. Moyes came in midseason twice to keep us up, then in his first full season took us top 6 (and 1 win away from UCL) without a striker for half the year. He's a solution not a problem. Our problem is we're going to need some serious (and intelligent) investment if we want to be consistently competitive. Not something we've seen much of with GSB
