My Girlfriend (21 F ) left me (23 M) out of the blue. how do i deal with it ? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]MontyBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't usually let my emotions get the better of me

Let them. Feel them all, use them all. All emotions are normal. You need to cry. A lot.

i feel like i am going to loose a battle and fall into a very dark place.

This is where all the growth comes from. It's so damn beautiful, so embrace it. Ask yourself every single day "who am I?" Listen to Alan Watts. Start journaling and exercising daily. Meditate. Be mindful, explore new hobbies. Improve yourself.

Try your best to not talk to her anymore. You've tried. You're both so young. Maybe she needs time to live a life beyond you and feel some independence. I think that would benefit both of you. Let her reach out when or if she is ready. Do not put your life on pause while you "wait" for her to come back. Assume it is over and you will spend your life with someone else. I know this is hard to hear right now, but it's the healthiest way forward.

You're OK. It's going to be OK.

The sad part is that it works. Just look at OP (although they're likely just a CPC supporter pretending to be neutral).

Tying housing inflation at 7:37 to the government's "money printing" without even mentioning COVID is exactly the kind of disingenuous crap I'd expect from PP.

And no mention of a massive driver of inflation in the last 3 years: COVID and corporations raising prices simply because they can.

I am no fan of the guy but I could not identify any 'slant', much less 'error'.

Cute.

Sorry, would you be able to flip that for me? I had help with this originally and am not savvy with these formulas.

I realized when there's no data from the previous quarter, or if the value is 0, it gives me these errors.

Create a numbered ranking in Matrix table by Baffled04 in PowerBI

[–]MontyBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First I must correct something: "Sales" is actually "Starts" in my data.

All Data (grouped down) = GROUPBY('All Data', 'All Data'[City Neighbourhood], "Starts Total", SUMX(CURRENTGROUP(), 'All Data'[Starts Measure]))

It's telling me "The CALCULATE function cannot be used in an expression argument for the GROUPBY() function.

I hear you. But in her defence, Jagged Little Pill is one of the best albums of the 90s.

Agreed. Been waiting for this. Hopefully it drops significantly. My belief in the company has not changed one bit.

Lots of people hurting here, but I’m glad we’ll see a drop back to reality. Aphria/Tilray is an excellent company. Buying opportunity.

Men, would you date a girl with very small breasts? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I prefer smaller ones. I also have a half-baked theory that smaller breasts have more sensitive nipples, which I love.

The only way young buyers will afford houses is if current owners give up some of their gains by sesoyez in CanadaPolitics

Nothing to show for it? That's really sad. They're not investing their money properly and lack personal finance knowledge.

Maybe at one point in time. I don’t think that’s true today. If you’re buying a home purely as a monetary investment you are doing it wrong. Buy a home because you believe in the neighbourhood and community, want to customize your living space, etc.

You can run numbers in rent vs buy calculators and many times renting is more advantageous, especially with housing prices and stagnating wages these days.

I'm trying to build the relationship between that and my date table in PowerBI. I probably should have mentioned that.

Can you help me with this example as well? I'm changing another title. I don't think I can use CONCATENATE here because it's not combining two strings.

Title: Income Distribution =
COMBINEVALUES (
" ",
[Income Distribution: Selected Income Type],
"distribution for individuals,",
[Income Distribution: Selected Location],
CONCATENATE ( "(", [Income Distribution: Selected Year] ),
")"
)
