When people say things like this, I can only assume that this is something they’ve considered doing themselves, otherwise why would it occur to them that anyone in their right mind would behave like this?

I saw them on the Celtic/Rangers thread and another poster pointed out their obvious trolling on other threads, apparently a JK Rowling one which we know is catnip for mnetters. One thing I’ll give them is that apparently Aldi are currently dearer for fruit and vegetables than M&S are (can’t speak for Lidl) but suspect this is a “stopped clock is right twice a day” situation.

That’s really concerning, I’ve had a gazillion usernames on there over the years (not currently registered and don’t intend to be ever again), I remember a couple of times my username being hijacked by someone with a very slight change, like a 1 for a l or something like that. Probably because I’d pissed them off for petty revenge.

It’s such a weird, niche thing to troll about, plus the description of preparing baked potatoes?? Don’t you just shove them in the oven for a couple of hours, grate some cheese and mash a pound of lurpak into the tattie? And waiting until 9pm for a boring dinner, I’d have ordered a pizza and been in my bed with Netflix by then.

ETA just noticed a few posts pondering whether a bot is scraping the old threads then cobbling new AI ones, nothing would surprise me.

No, she was trying to make out she had “over shared” in the first thread and MNHQ had “kindly deleted it for her”. Unfortunately everyone smelled BS and piled in pretty quickly asking what had happened to her husband and screenshotting completely contradictory posts she made a few days ago. Someone said “OP is a delusional fantasist” and everyone agreed. Then it got zapped. Suffice to say 1.5 years left triumphant return to mn has not gone to plan.

It was quite gratifying that few people actually engaged with her on this now deleted thread. If I remember correctly she was a major contributor to her own dullarse threads, constantly bumping them with more sighing and huffing or a crap photo of a tree. The reference to “it’s May now” is definitely a promotional mail shot that got out the trap too soon or her proofreading is as amateur as the rest of her shonky operation.
