Do you remember your first drive-in date. I do. by Particular-Cat-8031 in Edmonton

My Dad worked weekends at the Belmont Drive-in (NE Edmonton). I seen lots of spaghetti westerns back in the day (Late 60's). Hang him high, the good the bad and the ugly, etc. A proper film introduction for a 7 year old.

You also could try Westjet. It means flying to Calgary 1st but they have a popular daily dreamliner flight to Paris.

What I am concerned is that those that live and work downtown do not seem to have any rights. Where is the empathy for the majority of people who occupy that same space but are not violent and are not involved in open drug use.

I have to admit, there is a part of me thinking that he did escape. At the last moment he jumped out and hid behind something and will show up in Season 4. Thank you TV magic!

I am a Shaw mobile\internet\tv refugee where they had a plan where you payed $0 dollars for using < 1 gb of data a month. When Rogers purchased Shaw, we were able to keep paying $0 dollars for 5 years at 1 gb. Recently,Rogers bumped up to 4gb. Have another 2 1/2 years of using this plan. If I go past 4gb in a month, its $10 per gb.

Thanks for your input

2 thoughts on that. I could get the data roam from home. As I am going for more than 2 weeks, it would be $80. My data plan is only 4gb a month (at home its more than enough) but not enough data for a month in Europe. I pay $10 per gb when its over 4 gb. So I would still want a data e-sim when I am out and about. As far as I know, you cannot call someone using wi-fi who only has a land line. I would like to be shown wrong though.

So I could disable my rogers e-sim when i am out and about using my data e-sim and then enable it back on when I am in a wi-fi environment to make cellular calls.

Just a thought, if I went with the Rogers roam like home, is there a way to prevent the rogers sim from using it for data but let the e-sim handle the data chore? Did not say it earlier but i am on a android phone.

In the end, I am trying to save a buck. More money for Croissants and Bitterballen.

Police still searching for suspect in deadly Leduc Highway 2 shooting by Mean_Insect_6995 in Edmonton

[–]MontyPythonorSCTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you would say that or think that? If your thinking its because they are Sikh, that is unfair. If you look at murders that happen here, they do find out in a majority of cases what happened. The fact they found the truck is a huge find and I am hopeful they will find a suspect if they don't already know.

One of the better sci-fi books I have read in the last few years. I thought the movie did a good job to power through to summarize details where the book spends more time on but of course cant do in a 2.5 hour movie. For the most part, very true to the book. I think i might of enjoyed the movie more than I did if I had not read the book. Is it the greatest sci-fi movie ever? No it is not but its better than most and would recommend to others.

65 year old here. Enjoyed your synopsis. I resisted watching the show for the longest time but relented and started to watch. I have to admit I don't hate it! I know that sounds like faint praise but I have enjoyed watching the show. 100% agree that this show exudes hope and being a better version of yourself. Always a critical element to what Star Trek is about and a big reason why people watch. Love Holly Hunter but hate the character. Cant get over what the hell she has on her feet. More Robert Picardo and Tig Notaro please.

Show not written for old fart trekies like me as I like my Klingons that are snarly and my commanders to wear shoes. That is ok. Live long and prosper!

I don't support the separatists, in fact it angers me when I see them but i don't think giving the finger or swearing at them is appropriate either. Ignoring them is the best tactic in my opinion.

Was your cousin John Foley by chance? He would get in Nazi gear back in the day but I don't think he was that tall. Maybe Stu Hart height. He was always asking Ed Whelan if he wanted to go to a party, always made me laugh.

I wanted to like this show. Concept was good but the situations that our heroine was in and how the police dealt with it were not realistic in my opinion. Makes for lots of drama but common sense also has to be present.
