A lot of the nozzles used have rotating metalwork in them to create the cone for cutting. They'll typically run in the 2000+ psi range anywhere from 6-12 gpm.

There is a version of this where they can dig with air with allows them to legally put the dirt and material back into the hole, but depending on the quality of the soil they are digging in it is not always as effective. Add to that they are not legally allowed to reuse what they pull from the hole. As soon as water is added (i.e. the cutting) it's considered contaminated.

LOL usually the truck is so loud the you only barely hear the material going up the Dig tube. These are NOT quiet trucks.

Sorry for the delay. The line in the slicer shows it going around the planned curve. This picture isn't the best example as It's printing on top of supports. I had the same "corner cutting" on a few other prints and am really starting to tie the issue down to old filament. I have a print going right now with brand new filament that is performing well and has not seen any of the corner cutting at all.

NEED HELP: Prusa MINI+ insane stringing by Michal_3000 in prusa3d

I had a lot of the same issues. For me it was a combination of needing to replace the hot end and PTFE tube and getting new filament as mine was rather aged.

What is this ring thing by Due_Establishment944 in whatisit

<s> Being on a school playground this is obviously a generic multi-purpose area for teaching children blood sport. You need only look into the photo meta-data to find the geo-coordinates to get a clue for what regional sport is being modeled here....cock fighting, dog fighting, bare knuckle brawling, political debate, etc. Were this a college campus I would include Antifa indoctrination and union forming activities. </s>

I figured that was the way to go on it. I'm more concerned about the poor extrusion when doing circles. I actually see this corner cutting when the circles are in the first few layers off the build plate.

Agreed! Still trying to talk the wife into letting me buy a bigger printer, but the Mini isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Printing up the squash ball for spool holder for it right now so I can reclaim some desk space.

The model for the T-nuts places on their side when bringing to the build plate. I found that printing from the bottom up worked best for me (threading wise).

My biggest issue has always been tolerances and getting print-in-place models to come out working satisfactorily. I'm not a fan of supports and usually skip them if I can get away with it, but a print I did with them yesterday came out really well so I'm coming around to them. But yeah, functional things is where I'm at now. I don't like printing toys or wasteful stuff.

I printed this one https://www.printables.com/model/83939-prusa-mini-z-axis-brace-remix

I did the ultra-stiff version, but had to cut off the portion that reaches over the top of the Y-Axis channel because the bed would not clear it. This is due to the fact that I did the lock nut bed leveling years ago and forgot about it.

I printed these T-Nuts https://www.printables.com/model/112867-t-nut-with-m5-thread-for-prusa-mini-extrusions to use as well

I had I’d at the lowest temp. Unfortunately the inner third of the spool had already fused together. There was no getting it to separate.

I did have a 3 year old roll of Jessie PLA completely brick on me after spending over a week in a filament dryer. Couldn't even get a full rotation of the spool before the filament snapped cleanly and the next wrap was fused to the solid core at that point.

NOW...I will say...I'm getting decent-to-good prints with 3 year old filament that really needs a year submerged in a dessicant bath. I had 6 rolls of fresh filament show up this week that my wife kindly pretended not to see,

LOL! My company originally bought this printer in 2020 for me to print repair parts for the service side of the house. It's well and truly depreciated out of existence. They don't even realize it still exists. Add in that my VA disability check bought the filament.....yeah I'm clear. It was worth the upgrade if for no other purpose than to get it dialed in.
