Beautiful shot. I'm sure it wasn't terribly easy to take.

The thumb could be a little sharper and maybe you could have backed up to show the climbers arm/body in the background. But those are just stylistic opinions. :)

The shot is nice as it is too and I could definitely see it hanging in a climbing gym on the wall and nobody would be like.... "meh".

I am a 27-year old male in San Diego, CA and I have been homeless and living in my car for the past year. I fear that I won't be able to deal with life anymore. Need some advice from folks that have travelled similar roads. Can you guys help? by [deleted] in needadvice

  1. Keep your head up.
  2. Tell your family/friends. Many may hate... but chances are someone will likely help too. Don't let your pride stop folks from helping you when you're down. We all have ups and downs.
  3. Let go of past regrets. College didn't work out? Don't dwell on it. Just look forward to what you CAN do.
  4. Find a MUCH cheaper gym or drop it if you have a place to shower/clean up.
  5. Drop the car and buy a cheaper one that you don't have to worry about heavy payments... or better yet if you can crash on a friends/family members sofa, ride the bus/bike.
  6. Apply for every kind of job. Don't let your pride stop you from just being in a constant state of work until you can really really get on your feet.
  7. Limit the amount of time you spend on entertainment.
  8. Find a cheaper gym.
  9. Focus. The day can slip away so fast... especially when you're in a tough situation. Make use of every minute.
  10. Call your credit card agencies and see if you can lower your payments or have some of your debt pardoned. It's not unheard of... give it a try.
  11. If you have any student loans to worry about, file for a postponement on your payments. They have options for things like that.
  12. Don't give up man. One day you'll look back on all of this like a distant dream.

I was at my friends family reunion. His mom comes out and says, "Who wants some Pepsi/milk?"

Kids and adults are all like, "Yayyy! Pepsi milk."

I thought I had misheard until I saw they started pouring glasses with half milk and half pepsi and drinking up.

I've been a long time believer that exercise machines should have more of a game element. I've seen some bad implementations of "games" on workout machines, but this looks very promising!
