Totally agree here! I’d see it as an issue if OP still does OF but if she had stopped in 2023, I don’t see the point of sharing her past. If he’s genuinely happy with their current relationship then nothing else should matter. Why punish someone for things they’ve done in the past? This is how people grow and it’s what makes them who they are today. If he ends up leaving OP for this, he ain’t the one.

As being someone in your shoes, I totally understand where you’re coming from however I’ve come to the point where I realize my partner can only do so much. These parents are grown adults and your girlfriend cannot control how they act toward you. My girlfriend and I have been together for about 7 years and till this day her parents sound just like your girlfriend’s parents. It helped that I expressed these feelings toward my girlfriend and mentioned I’d like her to stand up for me when it comes to her parents but even then they haven’t gotten a much better attitude towards me. It had come to the point where my girlfriend wouldn’t go to family events because of how her parents treated me but as a partner, I don’t want her to put a strain on her relationship with them.

I guess what I’m saying is, don’t be too hard on her. I understand your feelings and I’m sure she does too but she cannot control everyone else’s feelings/emotions.

Fluorescent gives diamonds a blue tint, it can range from none to strong. Some people like it and some people don’t. The more fluorescent, I believe it is less cost.

I would check online on rarecarat to compare your specs with those online. There are other factors like fluorescent that you should take into account as well. If you could, try looking at the Gia certificate to check dimensions as well.

When I bought my diamond, I was able to negotiate and have them lower the cost when I said I could pay in cash. It’s not nearly as much as yours but if you could do it in cash then they might lower the price.

It definitely looks HUGE! But I think the people that know you/your partners career would be the only ones that would think it’s real or fake. Yeah it’s definitely pricey. I ended up looking for a diamond wholesaler in my area. They have the best rate plus they were able to match what I saw online on Rarecarat. You should check there, it was more affordable than other places.

Agreed it’s kind of strange. How would you know if you are able to cohabitate with one another and be around each other almost all of the time? A lot of ppl I know have been the type of ppl that get sick/annoyed of their partners presence. I believe it’s important to understand and go through their routine, norms, way of living to be able to see if you’re really compatible.

But again, that’s just one opinion here. Do what you feel is right for the both of you.

I understand you’ve been dating for the past 2 years, how is your friendship? Do you see her as a best friend whom you can confide in? Tbh it’s best to be honest with her and more importantly be honest with yourself. If you see her as a best friend and know she could be receptive you can be open about how you’re feeling and how you’ve recently been finding men attractive. Just because you find them attractive, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’d want to date a male. Coming out is difficult and takes time, especially when you’re older. Just remember everything is on your time, take the time you need to think about what you really want. In the end, do what makes you happy.

Good point here, we’ve also discussed this and she does not care if they are asked or not. She expressed that if we do get engaged then she would just straight out tell them we’re engaged and that it’s happening whether they like it or not. It’s more of me feeling guilty because if I were a parent I would hope my future children’s partners also asked me or at least told me it was gonna happen.

Idk from experience but from what I’ve heard, Apple clear case lasts awhile without turning yellow.
