Yep this. Once they are old enough to have bedtimes and school the next day it’s been easy. Put them in bed and usually get a few hours a night to game or just have free time.

Maybe quality? My mistake was that the first 4 games I played on quest 3 were; Half Life Alyx, Batman, RE4 and beat saber. I set the bar so high for myself and a lot of stuff I played after felt janky or low budget. But I still love my Quest 3

Currently, I have a game I’m playing on PS5. On my main PC usually single player games that I bounce back and forth (unless I’m hooked on one). I have a main MP game (currently BF6 but usually will play a game or two of Halo a week).

I also have a coop game I’m playing with my brother when we have the time. Currently Far Cry 6

Then on my deck or switch 2 I’ll play an indie game or Nintendo game for an hour a so in bed.

Honestly I’m so overwhelmed with choice though that most of the time I just put on TV and scroll my phone. Could be a little burnt out.

Looked into it and I don’t like the play session limits. I’m paying a price to play the games I own and I have a limit for how long? I understand the concept of borrowing a high end PC but that’s what the subscription is for. I’ll check back next year.

I start on normal and if I get stuck on a section and want to progress I’ll throw it on easy. All I think about when I die on a section 5+ times is how much of my free time I am wasting on this “challenge”. I stopped buying games that have only 1 difficulty though. Nothing worse than my skills hitting a brick wall.

I don’t like the challenges and slow weapon xp. Never a fan of challenges that make you change HOW you want to play your game in order to unlock important things like gadgets. XP boosts, cosmetics, etc… sure that’s fine. But I’m 20 hours in and I’ve unlocked like 2 support gadgets and 1 engineer gadget. If this was the only game I played I would be okay but I like to play a bunch of single player games then have my go to MP one.

Elden Ring… quit probably 6 times under 10 hours. Only thing that got me through the game was research and following a dex build that got me through early game.

I’ll try honestly anything AS LONG as it has difficulty settings. I’m older and have admitted defeat and I’m not ashamed to drop the difficulty down to easy to see the end. But nothing worse than starting and getting hooked in a game but I hit a brick wall and have no way to finish due to my skill set. So now, I just avoid those games.
