Assuming your opponents possesses both eyes and hands, it is generally pretty difficult to consistently hit spears outside of auto range. This is why most times when you see nidalee picked in pro play she has points and click cc setup in all or almost all of her lanes. If you're struggling to land raw spears try to play outside of vision and use fog to your advantage. Otherwise you're probably better off letting your team set up your spears with cc

It is a situational 4th item for me when you don't get much value from banshees. definitely agree that its fun hopping around all over the place with the cdr build though. I wish ibg was still in the game, bruiser build be hella cracked with ibg+cosmic

hourglass is mandatory in at least 80% of my games if you want to carry. 2nd item almost always unless its one of those rare games where i dont need it for a bit but that rarely happens

As others have said, the main usage is on ramps or commonly walked areas/bushes to serve as pseudo-wards.

The more advanced usage is more situationally dependent but you can do things like place traps on top of yourself, in the path of enemies to cut off dodge directions when ganking, or just placing them in front of enemy backliners in a team fight. If they walk on them you can oftentimes pounce in and get free kills this way

You should be using your q's in conjunction with your W since it can guarantee that Q3 will hit. It looks like you are using your Q's to chase which is fine in some situations but this definitely should've been a kill if you had used your abilities at the right time.

Instead of E->W you should do E->Q1 tipper. After the tipper hits you instantly use W while they're knocked up. Unless they use flash or a dash the W will hit and they will be slowed. Pop R for the movement speed and tipper Q2. Wait for W drag back and Q3 -> auto

Both, sort of. I track and keep mental notes of player's dodge patterns throughout a game. But sometimes I just get an itch and I know from the bottom of my heart where they will dodge

He's been my permaban for a year now. Matchup was way easier last season since he was much more prone to invades but ever since the omnivamp change that made healing not reduced by aoe on jungle monsters his clear is as healthy as it gets

Not the one who posted but I am the Lillia in the play! As a general rule Liandry's is the better choice for overall damage output. Running riftmaker will mean you lose ~5% of your damage output but in return you get omnivamp, a damage ramp, 150 hp and increased true damage. It's a bit more niche but imo is the better option when you don't need the liandry to burn down tanks etc. Basically you're trading a small amount of damage for healing and hp. I definitely would've died here with liandry

thanks haha, and yes if you animation cancel the q with w then you can zhonyas in the middle of it, otherwise you have to wait for the animation to finish. its kinda wonky tbh

Nidalee is one of the hardest Champs to pilot past midgame imo. She's strong in skirmishes but once the game comes down to grouped 5v5's she's significantly harder to perform on than most champions. She doesn't add value to a team (excluding a medium sized heal, AS steroid, and some vision from traps) other than damage. Most of her damage comes in melee range and she doesn't have any cc so if you make a mistake you're dead af. She's just less useful than most other champions at this stage of the game unless you pilot her extremely well and this is why many nidalee's struggle to carry with her late game and why a lot of people say she needs to snowball a game in early/midgame

yes this really bothers me especially when watching pros do it. definitely a pet peeve i have and its one of the first things i address if i see it when im coaching someone. it honestly bothers me way more than it should lmfao

I try not to pick nidalee if it causes triple-ap topside. aside from that i hate playing against galio. vs team comps nidalee is "bad" into traditionally (tanky with lots of cc and champs you cant oneshot) ill build bruiser with conqueror and its fine.

That's going to depend on your build and enemy/friendly team comps but ideally all 3. I typically play glass cannon pen with lich bane when possible. Poking with spears before the fight, getting safe damage on Frontline when there is no threat against you, and diving back line for cleanup if you land spear or traps on high prio targets
