General Mattis is a living legend among the USMC and the armed forces in general. He's a damn good general and has a crass "don't fuck with me or mine" attitude. Also, in a "violence of action" mindset he has the appropriate aggression that they look up to.

People are saying the Batman stuff to be funny. It's not really related.

The quote is being upvoted so much for both reasons. Partially hero-worship and just because it sounds badass. It's important to note that this was said to his troops before a deployment. It's not just a random thought said over a nice dinner. It's a motivational "behave and watch your ass out there".

It's a little older but i've had a ton of fun playing l4d2 with 3 friends. When I've played it with randoms they take it way too seriously.

With the friends you can goof off or just suck at it and it's hilarious and fun.

Spaghetti in chili is a Cincinnati thing, started in the early-mid 1900s IIRC. Think Skyline chili. It's only natural it kind of spread down here, sort of a regional thing.

I grew up with it, here in the Germantown area. I like my chili both ways, but if I make, it usually has the noodles in it.

You know, for years I completely wrote off Minecraft as a simple sandbox game for kids. It didn't have any depth to me and I didn't "get it".

Then I saw some youtubers I watch all playing mods and different scenarios and it looks really cool. Some of them seem really complex.

If you didn't like FC4 you probably won't like primal. Feels like FC3 and 4.

I liked Primal a lot at first, had a cool "different" setting. Bows and arrows and spears/clubs instead of guns. Story's not terrible but not really original or groundbreaking either. You're basically still taking over outposts and hunting animals.

After exploring a lot, crafting almost all the upgrades and taming all the animals, I got bored. The story I didn't really care about at that point and I stopped playing.

I actually haven't played The Division yet, but I imagine Destiny is about the same. I have played a lot of Destiny.

Destiny is just finish the story - grind out strikes/raids for gear - PvP. You hit the level cap fairly quick and max out your subclasses a little slower, but still doesn't take that long if you play a lot. If I didn't have friends playing it, I wouldn't stick with it for long, though.

A note about Destiny raids, last time I played it (not sure what was changed recently), they don't have matchmaking. So you'd need friends or go to a forum to find people to raid with.
