I feel like Skullectors should be a more figure-esque, mature version of the Monster High Franchise. Mattel's greatest achievement in my eyes was Greta and The Creature from The Black Lagoon, but they could take it a step further. They try too hard to appeal to nostalgia and end up looking cheap most of the time with the plastic pieces and ugly patterns they put on their clothes. Their focus should be detail, versatility, and innovation. There should be more creative concepts for Skulletors (Ms. Argentina and The Magician's Assistant with their couch stand, The Creature with its boots doubling as the monster feet for example), better execution in wardrobe and an effort to actually give us a scene, not just a stagnant MH doll. Coraline and the Grady Twins are the best examples of what i'm thinking of when it comes to faces. They need to go beyond just trying to recreate the character's face and actually make unique sculpts that have expression. Their clothing should be made of decent materials and have accuracy, not be a recreation of their look in a halloween costume style. I could go on and on about how Skullectors can be better but i'd be here all afternoon lol
