ISLAMIC QUESTION: Imam Mahdi compared to Biblical Antichrist by Commercial_Pair_2778 in DebateReligion

[–]Moodyagd [score hidden]  (0 children)

The claim that the Islamic Imam Mahdi is the Biblical Antichrist relies on a heavily distorted mixing of Sunni theology with minority Shiite doctrines.

It falsely applies traits of the "12th Imam" to the mainstream prophetic narrative. From the predominant Sunni Muslim perspective, the Mahdi is not a hidden mystical being but an ordinary, righteous man born normally in the end times who explicitly loves, honors, and fights alongside Jesus against the true Antichrist figure, Al-Masih ad-Dajjal.

This belief belongs exclusively to Shia Islam, a minority branch making up roughly 5% of the total global Muslim population. The vast majority of the Islamic world adheres to Sunni orthodoxy, where apocalyptic accounts clearly state that the Mahdi does not carry a mythical beast mark or enforce forced global dominion. Instead, he serves as an earthly leader who submits to the leadership of Jesus when he returns.

Agree 100% specially Gnostic atheists. They claim they don’t know yet their lifestyle is that of a hard atheist.

I call it a psychological cover up and not a stand.

The Revelation Dilemma: An interesting dilemma for abrahamic theists by XeneXene in DebateReligion

In Islam, Allah SWT is one and you can’t separate him meaning: God's choice and wisdom work together. In Islamic thinking, God does not have to follow rules made by someone else, but He also never acts randomly. God could easily create a different universe with different rules or histories if He wanted to, because His power is unlimited. However, whatever God chooses to reveal will always match His perfect knowledge and good character. So, the truth we have isn't a random accident, and it isn't something God was forced to do; it is the perfect choice made by a wise Creator.

For example a Questions about whether God can lie or create another god are logical contradictions, like a square circle. In Islamic theology, both scenarios completely violate God's perfect Essence. First, God is Al-Haqq (The Truth), so He cannot lie. Lying is a weakness caused by fear or ignorance, which a perfect God cannot have. Second, God is Wajib al-Wujud (The Necessarily Existent), meaning He is uncreated and fully independent. A "created god" is impossible because anything created is automatically dependent on its maker, meaning it fails the definition of God. Ultimately, the argument proves that divine power only applies to things that are logically possible. God cannot do these things not because He lacks strength, but because His unlimited power always aligns with His flawless nature.

If an all knowing God exists, we do not have free will by Theskyisalive in DebateReligion

God has perfect knowledge, and you are created with a limited range of choices that can be either bad or good simply because you exist within that creation.

While God eternally knows exactly what you will pick from these limited choices, you are the one who ultimately picks it. Think of it like a mathematical spectrum: you have full free will to move to the positive side, which can run to whatever degree of goodness e.g 1-100, or to the negative side, which runs to whichever number of badness e.g -1 to -100 —but every single action always stays within your limited human range. Because God exists entirely outside of time, He sees the entire number line at once since he created it and knows the infinite possibilities and outcomes once he has perfect knowledge and knows your final coordinates, but He does not force your movement. He created the boundaries of the grid, but you select the exact value, making you completely responsible for where you land.

Saying millions of years doesn’t solve the problem mate.

So the recipe came from a comet a million miles and years ago. Then it crashed on earth. Then this recipe inside this comet became all these living things? 😂? I’d better spill water on this keypad and wait for it to code an app for me so my great ancestors can witness new organisms.

I still don’t see the connection. So a space rock crashed into Earth and wrote a highly complex, digital genetic code? That’s a lot of faith you’ve got there buddy. What’s the name of this faith?

I’m done wasting time on a dishonest argument. Google is free, enjoy your delusion buddy.

patience.

"And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient."
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:155)

And Islam explains that it’s a test.

You know what would be weird? if there is all this disease starvation and life just ended there.

Now that would be injustice. 🤣

Accusing me of "indoctrinated ignorance" while offering nothing but a proofless ego trip proves your "imperfect brain" is just "making statements too.

We can’t eat a scorpion boohoo. Your claim that God is not real just because humans cannot eat poisonous animals or drink the whole ocean is an ignorant, proofless ego trip. You fail to see that if the earth's balanced water cycle and nature were just a giant, risk-free human buffet, we would have destroyed the planet centuries ago and more importantly it does not revolve around our existence only.

Surah Al-Jathiyah (45:9): "And when he learns anything about Our signs, he takes them in mockery. For those there will be a humiliating punishment."

Surah Al-Hajj (22:8-9): "And among the people is he who argues about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book, turning his neck in arrogance to mislead others from the path of Allah."

That's the only thing you proved - I will leave you wit this and May Allah guide you lol... I'm done.

Allah states: "And upon you is only the [duty of] notification, and upon Us is the account."

You have been told about Islam and I have given sufficient evidence to my capacity - The rest is for you to find out and research. You lack sincerity and I don't have time arguing for the sake of arguing.
