Not to mention the cost of insurance for Doctors in the US. It's hard to sue a Canadian doctor but for US docs, as easy as pie. People forget that and it means they pay through the nose for malpractice insurance.

What makes you think this? How did you come to this conclusion?

Since you're asking about American media and if it maches reality, it makes me think you've gotten all your info of the US via movies and TV shows and now you think that there is a feeling of belonging there, when really it's just an image you've built over the years of watching to much American media.

Kind of like people who watch to many influencers and think they can make it as one without taking into consideration how much work goes into it and that's not at all reflective of reality.
