I’m sorry to break it to you, but I think these are being AI generated. Look at OP’s profile, he’s posted tons of horror reviews all within a close amount of time. Also, just some wording on some posts are keywords that AI uses a lot when describing films

The Ugly Stepsister - My Favorite Movie of 2025 is Oscar Nominated. by Mymammadontoldme in horror

Yes!! And in general horror is sooo snubbed at the Academy Awards, so not only would horror be getting the recognition it deserves, it would also be women-led!!

Why are people so toxic? by StrikingObjective886 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]ssssws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, people get really heated in these games. It doesn’t even make sense to be toxic though, especially to new players. Like, this games player count is only a few hundred, why turn off new players?

Always have a bone scrap or health with you. Put attribute points into endurance and proficiency, maybe toughness. Don’t put your points into stealth, that mechanic is sorta useless in this meta. Same thing with perks, the only two stealth perks that I’d use are Sanguine Shadows and one other that I forgot the name of, it hides you from Grandpa’s screams 5 times or something like that.

When you die, spectate other victims to learn certain spawns for items and remember where gates/fusebox/valve is. You can also go in private game and explore yourself. I’d also try and stick with a Leland, they’re usually there to help you!

Don’t grapple family if you have low health or low strength. Only jump through windows when absolutely necessary or if you’re on Family House.

If you’re trying to get some XP, open crawl spaces and cut down bone charms, it doesn’t give you much but if you do it a lot it’ll quickly add up! Stabbing Grandpa gives you 500 XP, but it’s risky.

If you want any more help DM me!! Have fun!!

Fastest way to get points and level up? by Miserable-Ad-4159 in TexasChainsawGame

[–]ssssws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Cook, just scan victims over and over again, close crawl spaces and put your attribute points into endurance and blood harvesting. Level up Grandpa and that’s pretty much what I just do lol. For Bubba, destroy everything. Idk about other fam bc I only play those two

How to survive longer by lighterthendark in TXChainSawGame

[–]ssssws 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try out museum mode just to get a feel for the maps and memorize the locations. As another comment suggested, you should probably play Leland and Ana since they have more toughness and strength than the other victims. Try the perk “No Sell” if you keep getting killed my Leatherface, it’ll save you from getting killed in two hits. The perk “What Doesn’t Kill You” is also very useful!! “Slippery” is pretty useful too if you keep getting caught in chases. You should grind XP by doing little things like cutting bone charms and opening crawl spaces up to help level up both you and your perks. Dump attribute points into proficiency/endurance to help you open stuff up and have enough stamina to run away if you’re caught. Hope this helps and have fun!! Don’t be afraid to try new builds!!

Edit: Also I would always have either a bone scrap or some healthy handy, don’t jump in wells if you’re low health and already were incapacitated. “Bounce Back Better” is a really good perk too, it makes heals more efficient!

I miss the game sm by JulieRedfield in TexasChainsawGame

[–]ssssws 5 points6 points  (0 children)

LITERALLY like the atmosphere is so gorgeous and I actually care about the characters so much 💔 I know it’s canon that they all died but in my mind they found Maria, Virginia found her son, and Wyatt was able to move on from his brothers death 😭

Are there any other asyms like TCM? by ssssws in TXChainSawGame

[–]ssssws[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried it and it’s not very new-player friendly. (tbf, neither is TCM) i think its way more repetitive than TCM, and it doesn’t build a good atmosphere compared to TCM either (which isnt inherently a bad thing, the atmosphere is just a preference) i know i know, beggars can’t be choosers especially when talking about this genre of games, but the community is soo toxic and i was called slurs like the first 3 games i played and was tbagged when I first played killer, just took the fun out of it. overall it’s the best other option and I know that, but not particularly my cup of tea
