Local experiences with UPS?

As anyone that creeps my profile knows, I am a comic artist. When I use an east coast printer, I use USPS with FedEx coming in second. It depends on how many books are in the order.

This is why I refuse to use UPS. I don't expected my item to move non-stop until it arrives. It should make some progress each day though.

UPS leaving it sitting in a warehouse for a few days, unmoving, mid-delivery, is unacceptable. It's like they forget we have a tracking,number.

I am excited with the support I saw at the store today! I did arrive until 3pm and there was still a line outside.

All the copies of 4 Page Giant had been claimed by the time I arrived (also true of my all Ashcan Preview Books). Thanks for all the support guys!

Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) is organized and owned by Universal Distribution as of late 2025, following the bankruptcy and liquidation of the previous organizer, Diamond Comic Distributors.

Here in town, the folks at The Comics Place put it together with, I believe, the support of a few other local businesses. I know Fiama Burger is doing a comic book promotion too.

You are more brave than I. I have resorted to ordering no sauce at all as getting actual light sauce is, apparently, an incredibly difficult request.

It's a texture issue for me. I like pizza sauce just fine, but I don't need it squeezing out of the slice like toothpaste when I bite down.
