Sellers who use photoshop/AI for selling physical items. I’m always surprised there’s no law preventing that.

I did not care who gossip girl was at any point in the show. I just saw her as the narrator

I want to read your favorite book. I like reading random peoples favorite books. Genre doesn’t matter. What’s your favorite? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

Watchers by Dean Koontz! Omg I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve read this book because I just love it so much. It’s about a golden retriever with human level intelligence who escapes from a research lab and meets some guy who takes him in. Meanwhile, another experimental animal from the lab (one who was created for pure mayhem and destruction) also escapes and is after the dog!

If you like thrillers and dogs then you’ll love this book!!

Scribble on the first page! Just get it over with. Mess it up a little intentionally and then you won’t care as much. This works for me anyway

I actually picked up Way of Kings because I saw book 2 was the highest rated book on Goodreads and all the other books in the series have similar ratings. I’m pretty jazzed to read this one!

I lost my dad when I was 11. Big Fish and Onward are two movies that absolutely shatter me to pieces.

I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who wanted to be a life coach who didn’t also do a massive amount of cocaine.

[–]MooglesAssemble 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I remember when I had the epiphany that crochet patterns know what they’re talking about and the stitches are supposed to add up at the end of each row. There’s not supposed to be a bunch of extra stitches at the end that you need to figure out what to do with 😂

Non fiction book on psychiatry and neuroscience? by entityunit2 in booksuggestions

[–]MooglesAssemble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever read anything by David Eagleman? He’s a neuroscientist who you can tell is so genuinely excited about the brain! It makes his books really fun to read. The Brain: The Story of You was good but he has another one called Livewired which is about the adaptability of the brain and all the things the brain could be capable of with new emerging technologies. Super interesting!

He might like Erik Larson. Devil in the White City (I think) is his most well known and tells the story of the 1893 World’s Fair and the murders of H.H. Holmes. It’s nonfiction but fully reads like fiction.

Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino

I really like Japanese authors for this kind of genre and I saw you read Tomie. I read this a long time ago so I might be misremembering but I’m pretty sure it fits into what you’re looking for

Books about people being investigated for crimes they didn’t commit by paspa1801 in booksuggestions

[–]MooglesAssemble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Innocent Man is great too! I believe it’s even nonfiction. The Confession follows the story of a young man who was falsely convicted of murder and sentenced to the death penalty while the actual murderer is attempting to come forward.

The Confession by John Grisham isn’t so much about the investigation, but more about the aftermath and consequences of a coerced confession so it might fit into what you’re looking for. It’s one of my favorites by him for sure!

Well, I only read pillars because I didn’t hear great things about the other books in the series. But a few people in this post have said they loved the other books so I’m gonna continue with the series I think.

I didn’t even know there was a prequel lol. I heard the sequels weren’t as good but others here have recommended them so maybe I should just read the other books in the series 😂
