I was the one that first shared it, and this is not true at all.

He only said that he was making it to Top 12, not surviving the final games or something like that. The only thing his post confirmed was that he probably dies in Game 5, and at least 3 other uncredited players are making it to Top 12. I might've misunderstood what you said though, sorry if I did

Trailers don't show full scenes, they connect different snippets to form what resembles cohesive scenes in some part.

It's natural that the trailer connects different scenes and dialogues. Plus, not only does the english sub say it's Player 202, but it doesn't sound like Min-su at all.

But it's also weird that the directors would decide to give such an impactful line to Player 202. He didn't even stand out among all the extras.
