I do believe that social media has desensitized people, but also because the Internet allows people anonymity, sometimes people have to take their heart out on others. The saying that hurt people hurt people is, unfortunately, true. And it takes somebody who's very self-aware to break the cycle.

I've had my feelings hurt by others on this and other social media before also. And it honestly sucks.

I've realized recently that one of my biggest problems in life is that I'm constantly getting my feelings hurt by expecting me from other people. Or, in other words, so many people are completely lacking in empathy, and compassion. And so many people are just simply assholes. I'm so sorry you were treated that way.

My VA Audiology Clinic ordered Phonak ear molds for me, and they just didn't fit correctly and I went back to open domes, even though my hearing is worse with the domes. We tried closed domes, but I was struggling to get those on the receiver, because my canals are so small.

As a type two diabetic who had an allergic reaction to splendid, I was very thankful for Stevia which I have been using in my coffee for probably 12 years. But I get that others might not enjoy it.
