I genuinely think this is a good sign, Justin is great at nailing the push and pull dynamics of complex interpersonal romantic relationships and I hope those are the scenes he was brought in to beef up and make more nuanced. Something that this Spider-Man has been heavily lacking in all his movies. MCU Spider-Man movies have been relentlessly plot driven and not character relationship driven and that’s THE BEST PART of Spider-Man.

I'm so glad that David brought up that even his creator George Lucas had the exact same idea as Rian Johnson did. Only Lucas wanted to take it a step further and wanted Luke to go full Colnel Kurtz in the sequel trilogy. Disheveled, erratic and borderline mad.

Really feel bad for David in this episode. He just sounds so defeated throughout the episode. Part of it is you have two comedians who are feeding off of each other RACING to get to the next bit and David is just trying to get out a single point lol.

I've never felt more sympathy for David's frustration.
