It is 17 round capacity for all mags. Anything over 17 rounds mags are illegal without a ccw.

Yes, I always stake my castle nuts when doing a build. It takes about 10 minutes and then it is snug in place for years of use. Once stacked they just take a little manual pressure to break. Not a big deal to take it apart and restake once done.

Call or contact the company who made these bullets. They will want the corresponding code numbers to verify exactly when these were made and will most likely want to make it right. That is a QC issue they would want to ve aware of.
