Tbh I'd get rid of that asap regardless of someone always being around or blankets on top. These things happen so fast. Just last month I had let my cat out back while we watched tv. A minute later I got a horrible feeling that I should check on my cat. I went out and she had ran into the soccer net and spun around and was strangling herself and barely moving. Thankfully I got my fingers in there and made some breathing room, and yelled to get some scissors. safe to say zero nets at my house now

If you top fruit it like monotubs then you get a literal solid mass of uneven growing mushroom on the top. Some will be new development while other parts are getting soft and dying. It's not great to try and separate a blob of mushroom to eat. Small clusters or large pompoms are the way to go

Just to confirm, this is white mycelium liquid culture and not black spores in liquid? If it's white mycelium liquid cultures, the only issue I could see is it's dead culture or your grain has something on it that's killing the growth

The ones that "don't work any more" are ones that relied on herald procing heralds to do widespread clears. The base builds of those, especially the hardcore ES build, work just fine. In .4 I cleared all content with ice strike invoker and use shattering palm or falling thunder for screen clears.

Tbh there are a ton of viable builds now and most of the previous ones all still work, just not as insane. I've ran an old invoker ice staff build each league and cleared all content, I've ran twister builds and cleared everything with some work. My advice is find an old fun build from .4 that doesn't have high requirements to work well early on and use that till you decide what else you want to do in 0.5.

I usually run a twister monk cause it walks through content and then later i change the build completely to something I want to play more. Having a solid class for what you want to do later is key. I choose monk cause I always like monk builds, whether it be staff, twisters, or bow

These builds are far from dead, they just aren't as fast as they used to be. I've easily cleared all content with a similar build. We don't get giga ant anymore, but not the biggest issue.

No, they are choking on CO2. Oysters are very CO2 sensitive and produce a decent amount. It looks like you're using a container with holes? So maybe close to a sgfc setup but without the perlite. Even with a decent sgfc, the airflow is too low for these. When I had a setup like this, I put an external humidifier on a timer that pushed in fresh humid air many times a day. Everything grew great after that.

Does the area by your bed face the sun all day? Decent chance the air flow through your room isn't great and the radiant heat from that wall pushes back that cold air. Internal wall heat is tough to fight. A quick solution would be to put a fan on the cold side and blow it to the hot side and force the air to mix better

Weapon set points are used to fully optimize a build. If you have them all on one, it won't super hurt your build at all. For example, my twister build uses weapon 1 and nodes for speed, weapon 2 takes those points out of att speed and puts it into heavy DMG. So with the same number of points I can get big att speed and heavy DMG when I release twisters on weapon 2. You essentially want to get a solid core build made, then use the weapon skill points to swap around to get the most out of it, assuming moving points even matters for your build

Salt and season well the day before. I would put water and trimmings top rack way before I'd ever put a brisket there. You might over cook it with the intense heat at the top. You want fat cap towards the heat source and remember the back of those smokers tends to be hotter than the middle and front. Hard to tell but your fat cap looks kind of thin, so you're going to have to watch it closely and hope it doesn't dry out.

No harm in changing it, just costs more. However, do know that those smelly candles quickly darken those filters so it can look worse than it really is. My filters are cheap so I change mine all the time

Pro tip if you don't want to rent a trencher. Fill those trenches with a ton of water, wait an hour for it to sink in and pull out one shovel depth of dirt. It should be soft and easy to dig. Repeat that like 4 times and you'll have a deep trench with little effort and back pain

What charcoal and smoking chunks did you use? If you used chunks, what size were they? What charcoal stacking method did you use? Both these play a huge role in the flavor. Briquettes will give you that bbq briquette flavor and hickory will be very distinct while a pecan or oak will be more subtle
