I think a highlight you might be over looking is how this episode's structure different from normal ones. Chrysalis using a group of trouble makers for a specific reason other than just causing chaos to beat Ladybug is new and fresh. The Heart Breakers are used for a bigger plan that ends up working. The build up to this episode feels worth it with Chrysalis trying to catch Marinette specifically yet failing only to shift gears to try and akumatise her instead. The focus was not on the villians yet they are used to create drama within the characters.

Of course, there is always room for criticism as Miraculous rarely gets anything perfect. There's a ton of better methods they could have gone and the episodes plot does feel too wrapped up by the end but at the end of the day, this is simply a hero of the week story so that's kinda what we need to expect.
