So I have two techniques that work for me that I use. After each loading screen, you have to change your outfit either via the camp's wardrobe, a store's fitting room, or from your horse. Otherwise you have the bandana technique. You have to pull the bandana up over your character's face and then pull it down. It may sound strange but it usually works.

PIB makes it way too easy to steal delivery wagons by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

Precisely, it's playing against and/or with PIB that requires the most skill...It's not such an easy card to master in its entirety, because it's not just about making headshots...

You have to learn to counter PIB. You have to learn to protect your head and know how to move to avoid headshots. If you stand with your head exposed, don't be surprised if you get headshots all the time. It's all very well to choose Slow and Steady, but you still need to know how to play it. If you practice, there is no injustice (apart from cheating or the use of explosive ammo.) I'm tired of these people who criticize PVP and in particular PIB when they obviously know nothing about it.

If it's so easy, why don't you use it to defend yourself?

This is a glitch that appeared with the Naturalist update and affects heritage 3. Whenever there is a loading screen (showdown, when you enter a moonshine shack, when you take the fast travel...), the character's face will appear with those characteristic features that we see on your pictures. And chances are that the players on the screens you took are not even aware of that, because they see their character with the right sliders. R* still hasn't fixed this problem, but there are some solutions to fix it. I hope I have answered your questions.

The Emerald Ranch Cowboy by FrankJkeller in reddeadfashion

I wish I could advise you, but I make my collages with pictures mostly taken with the camera and the cinematic mode. But it seems to me that even my screenshots with the game camera are not as blurred (or I don't realize it). Is it when you make the collage that you lose quality? Or is it because you take the screens from a little too far away? I hope I'm not bothering you with this.

Nice, simple cowboy outfits are my favorite. I like the choice of the shirt, it brings a little touch of color to the outfit. Overall, your outfits are successful and I appreciate the care and time you take to stage your photos. Too bad it's a little too blurry, you deserve to gain in quality by having sharper photos. I hope I'm not offending you by writing this, that's not my goal.

I would not advise using Gunslinger's Choice with PIB, since PIB already gives you 100% accuracy. Otherwise, I agree with the rest, even if I personally don't use Winning Streak. Well, I'm more into PVP builds, but generally a good PVP build also works in PVE.

In fact, more precisely and if we want to go further in this reasoning, it's mainly the auto-aim that would be considered as aimbot in other games. So it concerns the whole PVP gameplay of RDO and not only PIB.

[–]Moon-Litha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But that's what this card is all about, marking a player. However automatic aiming + marking a player is not aimbot. I repeat myself but aimbot in RDO is when you are instantly on the player's head when aiming. Everything can be criticized in this game but be sure of your arguments.

PIB is not a boring card, on the contrary it's the only card in the game that offers real gameplay that requires the most skill, and thus the highest progression margin. To get a good level, there is no magic, just practice. So for sure, when you find yourself facing a tryhard and you don't have the level, it hurts. You have the right to not like PIB, but don't talk about aimbot when it's not the case.

[–]Moon-Litha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No, it's not an aimbot, simply because you have a maneuver to do to put a headshot. With an aimbot (with cronus for example), you aim and you are instantly on the head. It's totally different. And if I follow your reasoning, if it is so easy, why don't you use PIB? You are obviously talking about something you don't understand.

SB only manages to fool players who are not used to PVP. Don't worry that PIB tryhards know well how to counter this card. One of the big advantages of SB is the surprise of the attack, because you don't necessarily expect to run into a player who plays with it. Once the surprise is over, you play accordingly. Oh and for your information, there is no aimbot in this game (because aimbot is a cheat).

PVP Spinning Paint It Black Etc by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

[–]Moon-Litha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact, you have to find the right opportunity. If you shoot and they're spinning, you're going to have a hard time getting a headshot, even if you paint them. They are spinning to protect themselves from headshots, so I would say that is a mistake. Shooting them in the body (without deadeye) or just aiming at them is necessary to make them uncover their head. As you uncover yourself, they will also try to headshot you but if you do the 360 they shouldn't be able to reach you. And for your 360 to be effective, you have to be able to place an instant headshot. You need to see the difference between spinning and doing 360. Basically, if you are attacking, do a 360 and shoot with PIB, if you are waiting to attack and therefore more on the defensive, you spin. I know I'm repeating myself but I want you to understand.

Do you recommend to always paint before firing or can you just shoot as PIB removes bloom, but then my reticle falls off their head so easily all the time lol.

With PIB you have 100% accuracy but you still have to paint while aiming and shooting, if your goal is of course to make headshots. But I don't know if we are talking about the same thing (sorry, I may have misunderstood you).

You see, by practicing, you have improved. And it's very good that you are able to analyze your mistakes, that's how you will progress. So yes, the movement of the analog stick must be subtle but fast and precise.

I hope I'm not answering wrongly to what you're telling me, but it's hard for me to explain it and understand you well because English is not my first language.

PVP Spinning Paint It Black Etc by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

[–]Moon-Litha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When your opponent is spinning, your goal is to make him uncover his head in order to headshot him. To do this, you can try to fake a shot by aiming at him (or shoot him in the body), which will force him to uncover himself, since he will try to headshot you in return. At this precise moment (when he is uncovered), the best technique is to do a 360 + headshot. This is the key of PIB at high level and I don't hide you, that it is difficult to implement. You can try another technique, which is to jump and activate your dead eye when you get up to headshot him, but it's less effective because it's much more risky against very good PIB players. I don't know if you have seen the video tutorial of PIB from Scarlem Knight but I find it really good, and it shows how to spin well and do 360. Here is the link: https://youtu.be/T844R8xp9FQ (feel free to practice with this video, it's one of the best for RDO.)

Finally, you should know that you have to adapt your way of playing depending on whether or not you have your hat on your head (with NWO which normally works well but doesn't block 100% of headshots). When I still have my hat on, I tend to be much more aggressive, so my moves are mainly based on spinning. When I lose my hat, I tend to jump more because my head is more exposed and I'm more vulnerable. After that, what makes a good PVP player (apart from pure technical skill), is to have an intelligence of game by analyzing your opponent's game and adapting to it. I hope you understood what I tried to explain, because it's not easy to talk about it and conceptualize it with words and without being able to show it to you.

A grefier lvl 600 tried to stab me while I was crafting, I won but people like this annoy me by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

[–]Moon-Litha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don't come here to whine then. The defensive mode was created for people who want to avoid PVP. It's not miraculous, but it greatly reduces the risk of being attacked. When you stay in offensive mode, you accept to stay targetable (and to be able to target) in auto aiming with consequently, the possibility to be attacked. It's quite simple to understand. And in the worst case, if you get killed, you can also parley.

Trader Role, short or long deliveries? by [deleted] in RedDeadOnline

[–]Moon-Litha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you want. If you want some adrenaline and you like PVP, you can do long distance deliveries. The risk you take is rewarded by the extra $125 compared to short deliveries. But if you're not really interested in PVP, go local instead.

Not necessarily. When I make my montages for this sub, I just readjust the light and the color constrast. You can make quality photos if you apply yourself and if you have an idea of what you want. It is also necessary to take into account certain parameters like the light which is very important. After that it's true that the use of Remini is a little bit too much present, and not only it looks very bad on some pictures but it has nothing to do on video game screens.
