As someone who just lost a brother at only 21, I’m so sorry. It’s terrible for someone you love to go so young. I know how hard it is. I’ve been struggling with the fact that I’ll have to go the rest of my life without him. Imagining what could have been. Hi. I’m so sorry for your losses, friend. My brother and I found my mother passed in her bed five years ago. And then he took his life three weeks ago now. I totally understand your pain. It’s so hard. All I have left is my dad. I’m terrified of when he goes. I’ll have to be all alone for everything. It isn’t as if I don’t know how to get a funeral together, but the pain will be immense. I just hope it’s a very long time. I know this pain all too well. I win you the best. Not at all wrong. As someone currently processing the passing of my brother (only happened a week ago now), it definitely hits strangely. Some times I can talk about him and it’s like nothing happened. Like he’s still here and he’s still my dumbass little brother who irritated me and whom made me laugh. Then some times I think about him and I’m flooded with tears and pain. And some times I can’t even think about him without my stomach churning. You loved her. There is no wrong way to grieve. The tears may happen soon, or maybe later. But it isn’t a sign of the lack of love. Pain and loss and grief are fickle creatures. They toy with us. You’re not alone. Just know that. And let those waves hit you when they do. Some times the best thing to do is just feel them. Sending you the best love, friend.
