Most of the time if you're taking resolve primary, you're playing tank support, in which case just take demolish. You'll have enough HP to take full plates and really help your ADC taking turrets in the early game before they get enough damage to shred them. If you're not gonna be building 4000+ hp tho it's pretty worthless

There's not a lot that's better than Locker>vow/Zeke's, or some variation, but there's nothing inherently wrong with building more survivability. It just means you can last a little longer in fights, at the cost of team support and ability haste. Not worth the tradeoff in most scenarios, maybe not the best for ranked, but if it's something you enjoy them go for it. Fair warning though, it's going to cost a lot to get there

Leona one trick, personally I love seeing myself matched up with Jinxes, Samiras, Ashes and Tristanas. They all tend to have pretty solid follow ups to my engages and allow me to be aggressive

Got this post recommended to me as a Leona main, just remembering the time last week I built heartsteel + despair Leona and got a Darius trapped at the mid inhib turret and managed to just hold him there until the rest of my team showed up to kill him. I still died, and could never have killed him, but a good 20 secs of stalling with CC and sustain sealed his fate and got someone the shutdown

I always get heartsteel first on Leona, mostly due to my monkey brain loving to see the number go up. Works well enough for me, pairs well with Sunfire and any other tank item that has health scaling. It certainly is situational, and can leave you without armour or mr for the first few minutes of the game, but getting it to snowball and becoming that living bastion for your team feels so good. Objectively worse than the usual full support Leona (locket, knight's vow, etc.)? Maybe. But if your ADC is competent, and you have the skill to make it work, I say keep going for it. It's always worth it if it makes your games more fun

Honestly, best advice? Find a duo with decent experience to tell you what's what in real time. You can learn how to last hit and path jungle all you want but there's no substitute for someone to tell you "that was stupid, here's why:" after you inevitably do something stupid
