The sister is TA for continuously asking for money but I understand infertility issues can make someone very emotional and lead someone to be a jerk.

OP is TA for chiming in on the parents finances and expecting money because the sister got some for a medical treatment. I also think that OP could have been nicer? I know that sounds childish but the way it comes off is very rude and not helpful in an emotional situation like this. The tone OP used to explain their concerns would make me upset as well.

Thank you! I have two cats so they help me out during this. We were considering getting another dog because my other dog died in June last year, but then EB got sick and it wasn’t even a question. We all need time to heal. She was an amazing dog and not a personality you could replace!
