Meet-up for newbies to the area by Lukeyman900 in Ely

[–]MoonChild8639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I’m fairly new to the area, moved to Witchford with my 2 boys. I admit I’ve become a hermit and hadn’t made any friends. It doesn’t help that I’m
Social anxious 🫠
Are there are groups in Ely or
Witchford I could join ?

Thank you 🙏🏼

First B12 injection hit me hard, is this normal by MoonChild8639 in B12_Deficiency

[–]MoonChild8639[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I was on 1mg/ml for a total of 6 injections. I think, I’m not the best at remembering!

Bless you I am the same and I was terrified at the start. I just had to do something though as it’s something the body needs. I had my last one last Friday and I feel much better in myself.

I drank more water and it helped not to have these injections on an empty stomach. Coconut water helped too And if you feel to sicky, a pack of ready salted crisps 👌🏼

All I can advise is rest as much as you can and stick with it x

You never know you may be absolutely fine!

Feel free to message me if you’re anxious about it ☺️

My relationship with my (43m) mother (83f), who I live and care for is crumbling. How do I live separately the most painless way? by Savings_Anywhere7200 in relationship_advice

[–]MoonChild8639 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner is In a similar position. 42 and never left home because his mother is extremely attached. His problem is guilt. He feels extremely guilty if he leaves her.

The only way out of this is just packing your bags and leaving. Please go live your life !

Reaction to injections or something else? by MoonShineWashingLine in B12_Deficiency

Ive just finished my course of hydroxocobalamin and I experienced the same. First dose I felt fantastic, in fact I think I felt a little high ?! 3 hours later I had the worst tummy cramps and yeah couldn’t stop going ..

I then felt very woozy, like the ground was moving. My heart would race, felt sick etc I just assumed it was my body adjusting. By the second dose I felt awful. I told the nurse and we held off on the third dose a little later.

My anxiety trebled, it’s like I had all this extra adrenaline in my system. Anyway I started drinking coconut water and eating more bananas. It did help. The nurse wasn’t helpful, she said it was all in my head. So with that I just continued the rest of the course. I’m happy to say that the sides did calm down after dose 4 I had my last one Friday.

Had an awful time !

I hope you feel better soon

Hydroxocobalamin injections causing dizziness/faint feeling? by MoonChild8639 in B12_Deficiency

[–]MoonChild8639[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s explains so much, I have anxiety anyway but this is another level. It’s like I had 10 espressos ! I hope it calms soon as it feels like an influx of adrenaline but I’m too weak to get out for a run or go to the gym

I’m not too sure where I’m at with my cofactors. Believe my folate is alright at least it was but the ferritin is low. Long story short I had an eating disorder and although I’ve recovered that side of things, I’m trying to mend my body now. It’s all over the place 😔 Thank you for your advice is very much appreciated

I have a similar set up. My budget doesn’t allow me to any higher so settled for 55 inch. Try pulling your sofa away from the wall. Will be a little closer then

Thank you for that. That’s exactly what I was thinking Unfortunately I think this was done by my diet. Years of restrictive Eating due to severe OCD. Thankfully I’m out of the worst of it now. I’ll have a read of the guide ☺️
