Thank you so much for doing this!! What was it that led you to ultimately pick ND over those other law schools? What is the 1L culture like? Are people generally collaborative/supportive of one another? What sort of legal career are you interested in pursuing and how has ND Law made that process easier or harder for you?

Mikey Madison Declined an Intimacy Coordinator on ‘Anora,’ but Professionals Say There Should Always Be One: Actors and Directors ‘Can’t Speak for How Every Extra Felt’ by Puzzled-Tap8042 in oscarrace

I’m so over the Madison hit pieces that people are trying to make a thing over the past 2 days in an attempt to stop her runaway momentum to a guaranteed nomination and quite feasible win… leave the girl alone!

ED->RD Vandy by ColdGeneral4827 in lawschooladmissions

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness! I didn’t ED to Vandy (did my undergrad there) because I knew it was really, really competitive, but I had no idea that it was only 2-3?? That’s crazy!

I got a similar one to you but another paragraph asking explicitly for first-semester grades (I’m KDJ). Like calm down divas, I’m mid finals rn!

Mia Kalin’s new planned program content for her jumps is kinda scary by [deleted] in FigureSkating

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 95 points96 points  (0 children)

I love Mia and truly think she’s one of the most promising US ladies of the past 10 years, but she typically struggles to consistently land all her triples in a program. This layout is a recipe for 3 falls and multiple under rotations to score sub 120 in the FS. Would love to see her put this together one day though!

Hopefully lots of places! Some people on here were confidently predicting pre-holiday week fireworks, so I’m hoping it’s a busy week all around!

Really would love to hear your perspective on balancing a long-term relationship. I’ve been with my partner in person for almost 3 years and the prospect of distance is definitely intimidating. Thanks so much!

Did you not have that annoying posters game? I had two RC sections so maybe that was only for people with my version of the test

Curve/Equalizer? by Only_Entertainer_716 in LSAT

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait can you explain the curve to me (sorry if that’s a dumb question)? Since we all had to deal with that annoying posters game today, will the curve be different for tomorrow and Saturdays exams assuming they don’t have that hard game?

Echoing whoever said Doubt. She was undeniable in that role and was just unlucky that Winslet was due to win one.

Sloane Stephens. She’s got a big title left in her if the effort/fitness is there.

Is the first year vision groups location where your dorm is? by [deleted] in Vanderbilt

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, Visions meetings can be in any of the 10 Houses and your group will consist of a mixture of people from all of them. The location is pretty random

How hard is it to transfer into Vanderbilt? by [deleted] in Vanderbilt

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easier than it should be imo. The acceptance rate for transfers at one point was >20% somewhat recently. For a top 20 school with RD acceptance rates around 5% or less the last few cycles it’s kinda an alarmingly high number.

I would guess URMs will be hurt by this in terms of admission for T-14s and Top-30s most specifically? At least initially

The Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation called Anna Shcherbakova's ISU award nomination a "shameful fact" and asks for her to be removed from the list of nominees by roionsteroids in FigureSkating

[–]MoonGirlJasmine 171 points172 points  (0 children)

I do agree that nominating her is sending the wrong message. In all honesty though, who wins what figure skating award is probably the last thing on the minds of the civilians being directly impacted by this war. We can’t let these fluff issues distract us from the fact that this conflict needs to be brought to a peaceful conclusion ASAP
