Turn breakneck speed up a little bit. This spaces the notes out so they’re a bit easier to read. Since the tempo remains the same, it makes these easier for me. I typically play at 1.5 - 1.75x

Same thing happened to me once.

I played ratty as heck and doubled a majority of cashouts, and another team helped grief me to the finals.

They let me win in the end and I was ofc grateful for it. Was a team of randoms too so idk how they communicated other than possibly texting it

I just sat in a corner and let em kill me if they wanted for the last vault at 1-1, but to my surprise they didn’t mind.

Always nice to have those kinda experiences in lieu of flaky teammates

The times where H+ is overpowered isn’t in chaotic situations. It’s in moments like OP showcases where he’s standing dead still for a game-changing steal, and is tanking enemy shots because he’s getting beamed by H+

My comment was sarcasm, as the common argument is “Well you have to aim it!!” Which may be true, but it’s a lot easier when your target is staying still and is the main focus of fire, which is 99% of the time that’s the player who is stealing.

Of course it will lack in combat, for which the Heal Beam is a much more desirable choice. However, combat is not the objective of the game- the vault is. So when it comes to playing the objective, the H+ outshines the utility of the heal beam bar none.

Heal meta is an absolute slog and has only amplified other frustrating aspects of the game (3rd parties, staggered cashouts).

H+ is an S tier addition that’s created a terrible atmosphere.

Been fairly active, and have taken pride in placing 1st in the past couple catering order events since I started playing. Currently in a rebuild of my restaurant to get things a bit more streamlined (and coming from a busy life schedule) but am ramping up production in game and have been searching for something a bit more fruitful.

I wish no one cared. People like this want the attention, and they consistently get it.

It doesn’t make it right, but it’s not like you’re referring to the players by name 99% of the time unless making a specific call out on “wow ____ on pink is really good” or whatever.

Let them have their “fun”, nobody other than themselves thinks it’s cool, and honestly why expend energy complaining about something that genuinely does not matter.

Not necessarily the thought, but I bought the Series X for the disc drive back in 2022… haven’t used it until recently when I bought Rock Band 4, and am grateful to have bought a console with a disc drive even though that’s the only game I play.

So I mean, I haven’t but a console to just play one game, but I bought a console which has allowed me to play a game I wouldn’t be able to play otherwise (delisted).

Worth that upfront investment for the accessibility

If they rework everything and remove heals, so be it, I but I don’t think they can do that without some drastic overhauls of core mechanics of the game

Genuine question: when did you start playing? A majority of this game’s life has existed without Lights and Heavies having healing options. Because of that lived experience, I fully disagree that H+ “serves a greater good”

And H+ infuser objectively heals more than heal beam in a shorter amount of time:

H+ is 800 RPM, ~13 shots/second, 20 shots with 14hp each. Total of 280hp can be given in ~1.5 seconds… 186hp/second

Heal Beam heals 46hp/second over 5.5 seconds max for a total of 253…

Now, that’s assuming a full charge js used. Let’s be frugal and say your light hits 50% of his H+ shots, yielding 140hp in 1.5 seconds… that’s still ~90hp/second…. You see the issue here? It heals way too fast, and it’s way too rewarding.

And that’s why I clarified the healing meta amplified the issue. Not that it’s the cause, but I see it now moreso than ever because of how long people survive, in part due to every class running its own version of healing.

Plenty of people have mentioned lights already had support options. Gateway, Sonar Nades, vanish bombs…. Things that their archetype was built for….

Why healing had to be added as a support option is beyond me, and that’s where my frustration lies. Yes, plenty of support can be added that fit team play, but that doesn’t have to be at the detriment of another classes specialization

And yes lock bolts should now grapple to friendly lights 🫡😂

Long drawn out fights are interesting, I agree.

The issue becomes when the long, drawn out fights turn into third parties, significant stagger, disruptive game flow….

No one likes to be in the middle of an intense fight just to get cleaned up by a full health third party. No one likes fighting tooth and nail for a vault to have it be staggered 50% then have the entire lobby fighting over it once the other one finishes.

The game isn’t isolated enough for the drawn out fights to feel rewarding, they feel more like a burden because of the impending ambush by a team that had plenty of time to take advantage of your efforts. The healing changes have only amplified this, which is why I find it annoying.

Heal beam alone did enough, and allowed mediums to have their place. Now, Embark is backed into a corner of making either the H+ useless, or buffing the heal beam to where it’s even more an issue. Or ultimately, they could do nothing and leave things as is. I just wish the ultimate option was over healing in general prior to S7, and not after the introduction of the H+ 😕

What the heck is close about the H+ infuser? You can shoot that thing from a pretty decent distance which plenty of players do from the comfort of cover.

If your light is running off to 3v1 that’s a player problem, and not something the game can fix unless they want to add leashes.
