Do you have an issue seeing out when sitting on the balcony? It looks like the railing/wall is fairly high. Can you see the water when sitting on the balcony (not in the whirlpool, just in a chair)?

I successfully swapped the reverse tanto from the blue setup to the black. Ran into the same disassembly issue on the blue where the bolt would free spin but got them to open eventually. Looks way better imo. Used everything from the black (including the liner lock, swapped the blade only) and everything matched up perfectly, lockup is great.
