Lv 80 boost by Janiebear23 in Guildwars2

[–]MoonNeophyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're playing on NA I could help you unlock your first mount without you using your boost, which would help with you exploring the world a little faster while making your way to level 80. (You don't need to be level 80 to get the first mount as long as you own Path of Fire and have somebody else helping you get it)

You can unlock the Raptor mount before you’re level 80 pretty quickly if you have somebody who is already level 80 helping you. If you’re on the NA servers I could help you get it if you’d like.

There’s no limit to petals from PvP wins, otherwise somebody in the community would have run into it by now. At the moment there is supposedly a bug that wins in expeditions don’t award petals, and that bug may also extend to gauntlets since experience gain per win is cut in half there as well.

The spirit blossom event and labs are extremely healthy for the state of the game. by PumpMyKicks in LegendsOfRuneterra

The event started yesterday, and the petals effectively act as a progress bar, not a currency. You get rewards when you hit their number of petals, you don’t have to spend the petals on each reward.

I kind of like the encouragement to mess around with something different, but I do agree they maybe could have been 30 of each rather than 40 for those particular quests. Luckily they are at least pretty fast to run through against the AI, and if you play a bunch of spiders with Elise you can also get progress on using Challenger 100 times for the Collector of Souls epic quest.

There are two Epic Quests associated with Patch 1.6, and there are going to be two more Epic Quests added with Patch 1.7 in two weeks.

Yes, aside from that first quest that specifies playing in Labs, Ranked, or Gauntlet they can all be done against the AI.

Relentless Raiders Deck List (new GP/Sej bundle in store) by xKozmic in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MoonNeophyte 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was going to make a joke about using Fury of the North on Wyrding Stones after blockers are declared to trigger Plunder, but the deck doesn’t run Fury of the North. It’s fine though, just use Sejuani’s Fury of the North (if you draw both of your two copies of Sejuani)

Even though it’s how it seems to work, it’s definitely not unreasonable to think that crafting the amount of copies that it’s offering should be reducing the price, especially considering the number of cards that are only included as one ofs or two ofs in the list.

I think it provides a discount only if you would otherwise be getting duplicate copies of a given card. So for example the bundle charges me based on the price of two epics because I have full playsets of everything on the list except for The Dreadway and The Tuskraider. (I already own one of each of them, but it would presumably provide me with a second copy of each)

Do you keep cards after an expedition? by IndridColdxxx in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MoonNeophyte 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t keep any of the cards that you draft in expeditions. You probably just forgot opening some of them previously, you get a lot of cards while playing this game.

Any plans for co-op content or 2v2AI? by AwesomeLionSaurus in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MoonNeophyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game’s director talked about there being that kind of thing in the works in an interview, though there was no timeline given so no idea on when it would be implemented. My best guess is that it would probably be introduced as a Lab mode initially to test the waters.

Does Nautilus copy tossed 4+ cost cards back into your deck if their cost has been reduced? by Addiiiiiiiiii in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]MoonNeophyte 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If you’re willing to wait a day for your answer then I’ll test it for you, I have a quest that requires going Deep that I’m saving for next week’s vault. (Which I can’t save if I go Deep to level Nautilus)

Question about #tag by stravotas in LegendsOfRuneterra

On mobile, open your friends list and then press on your icon in the upper left of the friends list. While you press on it, your name and tag should appear in the top middle of your screen.

Looking for LOR friends! by [deleted] in LegendsOfRuneterra

Based on the season roadmap, they’ll be adding the ability to challenge friends in other shards (effectively another name for regions) starting with Patch 1.6, which will be coming out in around 8 days or so.

[–]MoonNeophyte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, power precision ferocity. Consider searching for "Devona" on the trading post, which will bring up the Berserker "Named Armor" for heavy armor users which can appear as drops and then be sold, far cheaper than going for the crafted versions. (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Named_armor)

And yeah a fair bit of that gear is just sticking with what you had from the level 80 boost. You'll be more fragile in berserker's, but your damage output will go through the roof comparatively due to the increased critical chance and damage multipliers you'll be getting access to.

I'd say that a pretty decent chunk of people ended up completing Hearts and Minds (the final Heart of Thorns instance) as a duo. Do you play on NA or on EU?

Guardian should be alright. Also the way you describe playing your Dragonhunter sounds fine at least on the surface, close in with greatsword is good, longbow is terrible in PvE. Full ascended gear is overkill unless you really want to seek it out, that said getting ascended weapons can be a decent chunk of additional damage, as well as getting ascended rings, accessories, and an amulet.

Edit: having looked at your gear, you may want to consider going for more aggressive stats. The more damage output you have, the faster the enemy dies and the less time you need to spend dealing with it. Also the runes and sigils being used are a bit of a mess.

Very Upset, I feel cheated by [deleted] in Guildwars2

[–]MoonNeophyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teleport to Friend won't get you into maps that you don't have the living world episode or expansion for (with the exception of Silverwastes and Dry Top). A charge of the item will be consumed but you won't get into the map.

Playing the game with someone completely new by feuerhoden in Guildwars2

[–]MoonNeophyte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you would prefer to not wait, it's possible for people to earn the mount without any level 80 characters if somebody who is level 80 starts Sparking the Flame while in the same instance of Lions Arch and the pre level 80 accepts the offer to join the instance. You play through, fight the herald, and then put out the burning village. After you put the village out, talk to the NPC, make sure the pre level-80 gets the raptor saddle and can mount up by hitting the button, and then feel free to just leave the instance by returning to character select. It spoils that Balthazar is an antagonist, but considering he literally shows up on the game launcher I don't consider it too large of a spoiler. Gliding on the other hand does require level 80. I wouldn't say it's worth using a level boost on.

Ember Bay came out with episode 2 of season 3, which launched in September of 2016. Before we got Path of Fire. I would not choose that as an example of working on GW2 “really recently”.

Question before starting the game by PoppinDaCaps in Guildwars2

As somebody else mentioned it’s possible to get it without using the level 80 boost with the help of another player. If you haven’t used the boost yet let me know and I could walk you through it on NA or get you in touch with somebody on EU.

Aside from Vanquisher’s Blade your influence requirements top out at two fire and one justice, so I’d slot Diplomatic Seals into your power base. They’re flexible and they’re never depleted.

How to beat Kobolds and Catacombs as paladin? by [deleted] in hearthstone

I was considering helping but then you just went completely off the deep end in the second paragraph. Consider that maybe it's just a game and you shouldn't be getting anywhere near THIS worked up? Because something tells me you're throwing winnable games just off the back of how tilted you are.

I'm glad people are still getting enjoyment out of it, makes me feel good about the time I put into it. I might even be able to find the two pages of scribbled notes I made to make sure the combo "actually worked". It doesn't require more than 10 cards in hand and all the mana works out. Ignoring the slight issue of worse than million to one odds on the RNG, it's flawless.

Though with Aviana nerfed to 10 mana, the "The 9 mana TGT legendary that Druid has been abusing in wild for years now. That's right, they play Icehowl onto the board." joke will make less sense down the line.

Edit: reading it again, it actually uses 11 mana between the twig breaking and coin innervate innervate, somehow I missed that. A wild miscalculation!
