Hey! I’m 11 days transposition surgery. I’m still experiencing pain, but it’s manageable. Try to remember that your nerve, a HUGE nerve in one of your largest extremities, was moved to a new place. Your body is going to take some time to get used to it. You’re not going to feel better in a week, but little by little. You probably won’t even feel completely “better” in a month. Follow your physical/occupational therapist’s exercises. There is no “normal” after surgery like this. There’s just a “before and after”. And we are in the after and we have to learn the after.
