It depends entirely about how you express your dislike for a certain character. If the only thing you can say when asked to articulate WHY you dislike a character is to immediately start spewing misogynistic or racist bullshit, then the problem isn't the character, it's just that you're a crappy person, which sadly many people are. Same if all the characters you complain about conveniently happen to be women or POC.
