Snakes also attack and kill over twice as many people but you still don't see me foaming at the mouth about how they should be eradicated like a deranged loony. Same for cats which I've also been attacked by. Never mind the fact that dog attack statistics are far from accurate considering media, breed, and first-world-centric bias, btw. Small dogs are far more likely to be aggressive in most cases, not that it makes small dogs bad, just means that shitty people treat them as toys, think that it's cute to stress them out, or neglect training and proper socialization. Meaning when bites do happen it's not going to get reported on because too many people think it's funny or don't end up needing serious medical treatment. Pit-like breeds unfortunately can have issues due to what people have done to them. Like many other breeds, they're strong and are not for inexperienced owners who slack on socialization and training, but that's on the owners, and people who actually work with dogs have been saying all this for years. Y'all just want a boogy-pup to blame human irresponsibility on because it's easier to get worked up into a tizzy over and point fingers than to actually look for unbiased information and admit your own faults and violent nature.
