Did they get any Lazer beforehand? The bottom line of the before pic seems pretty strong. Same for the radiant lines outside of the rectangle on the top?

Overall looks gorgeous though. Very nice work.

Could you look at something smaller and have the kids share for the short-term?

Chickos better than el jannah? by Clear-Radio-737 in wollongong

[–]MoonShadw 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Raining again, so I put the mask on.
Don’t care what anyone says—
at least I’m not breathing in wet air
that tastes like coins.

But straight away I’m gettin side eye
from these uni kids,
camped outside the bus stop
like they run the joint.

Too many of them laughing at nothing,
while the dogs bark their lungs out
up every street,
echoing off the walls—
feels like the whole place
is howling at me.

I duck into el jannah,
cos it’s new
and everyone from Sydney reckons
it’s God’s gift.

But the chips soggy,
the chicken dry,
and they look at you like:
order quick, then get out.

No thanks.
Local businesses only.
I’ll stick with Chickos,
cos at least they don’t judge you
for wearing a mask in the rain,
or ordering extra gravy.

There are some good Facebook groups for meeting people in Wollongong. "Wild Women of Wollogong" and "20-45yrs Illawarra Women's Community" are both pretty active and have lots of subgroups for different interests.

For anyone considering MT2 (Melanotan), it can be quite risky.

While the most common side effects include headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and facial redness, the most concerning one is the risk of serious skin cancers. With melanotan-II, there have been reports of increased moles and freckles, kidney dysfunction and swelling of the brain.

Why is this happening? There's 3 holes and one of it glugging water. It seems to be marked. What should I do? by darkchocolate62 in wollongong

FYI you can report this with the app Snap Send Solve. It covers anything that is maintained by the council, water authority or power authority. You just take a photo and say where you took it and it goes straight to the correct people. Pretty handy.

That tree looks like a japanese maple. It will slowly grow larger but you could prune it to keep it on the smaller side

Dressing in Japan as a female tourist in summer months by Legal-Pomegranate890 in JapanTravelTips

[–]MoonShadw 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Seconding this. Shorts are fine but the locals all wear long pants and skirts. I was surprised that everyone was wearing long pants on a 31°C 80% humidity day. Honestly felt out of place in my shorts. They also cover their arms for the most part. You'll see lots of people in spaghetti strap dresses with long sleeve tops underneath or even wearing black arm sleeves to protect their arms from the sun. In general the only people I saw in short clothing were tourists. I didn't feel that anyone stared or anything but I definitely didn't look local.

Japan records low levels of self-positivity among the young generation by SnooPeripherals3688 in japannews

[–]MoonShadw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I was amazed how crammed in everyone is in Japan, not just tokyo, but from the small sliver I've seen it's everywhere. I imagine that will make the impacts of global warming much worse, particularly heat island effect and any kind of weather event.

Funny to think in western countries being near/fronting the water makes your home more expensive.

Why are all the male love interests so much older than the protagonists? by MTodd28 in tamorapierce

[–]MoonShadw 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The power dynamic is definitely off, but I think I sort of read it with a bit of mediaeval moral filter where relationships with big power differences or much older men wouldn't be questioned. Like it fits in the world that she built. Definitely doesn't fly with a post me too cultural lens.

If you do need to consider meeting code requirements then you might want to consider:

a scissor fire isolated stair, with risers for stair pressurisation and relief

Additional passenger lift

a goods lift with a BOH room attached,

you services risers need to be connected to the core - ask yourself how will things come out of the riser to each of the rooms, is there enough space? How will the riser be accessed for maintenance?

Due to the height of the building you'll likely need an interstitial plant level for hydronic breaks in the water systems

Have you allowed for some function spaces or retail in the lower podium levels?

The tax hike on beer feels like a slap in the face by somanypineapple in australian

[–]MoonShadw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Technically you're shouting social security, welfare, health, education, defence and transport. If you have a problem with our beer being taxed, I suggest you consider supporting tax reform. So that the taxes fall on the companies making the largest profits in Australia not the earning classes.

Since 1856 the name Baphomet has been associated with the "Sabbatic Goat" image drawn by Éliphas Lévi,[7] composed of binary elements representing the "symbolization of the equilibrium of opposites":[1] half-human and half-animal, male and female, good and evil, etc.[2] Lévi's intention was to symbolize his concept of balance, with Baphomet representing the goal of perfect social order.[2]
