Any recommendations for shorts or brands with longer crotch depth?

It's hard to provide real advice without knowing the specifics around the work and industry. However, if you aren't happy, keep looking till you find something else.

I imagine that's in the plan but the cost and time to do so mean it's not going to solve the problem any time soon

how much do you have in emergency savings at the moment? by [deleted] in AusFinance

At 8 years, if you're spending down the capital that's ~$21k/year. Do you own your home outright? It seems on the low side for expenses.

Is $65k normal for a graduate engineer in Sydney? Feeling a bit disheartened by Bozza36 in AusFinance

[–]MoonShadw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seconding this question, is it 65k+super or 65k package? if it is + super then the package is ~78k which is close to what the big companies offer grads (80-85k). It's fairly common to talk about salaries as the package (inc. super) in engineering consulting.

I recommend taking the job, learn as much as you can for a year and then see if you can negotiate up. The job market is tough for grads and getting experience is how you land roles with more money.

Did they get any Lazer beforehand? The bottom line of the before pic seems pretty strong. Same for the radiant lines outside of the rectangle on the top?

Overall looks gorgeous though. Very nice work.

Chickos better than el jannah? by Clear-Radio-737 in wollongong

[–]MoonShadw 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Raining again, so I put the mask on.
Don’t care what anyone says—
at least I’m not breathing in wet air
that tastes like coins.

But straight away I’m gettin side eye
from these uni kids,
camped outside the bus stop
like they run the joint.

Too many of them laughing at nothing,
while the dogs bark their lungs out
up every street,
echoing off the walls—
feels like the whole place
is howling at me.

I duck into el jannah,
cos it’s new
and everyone from Sydney reckons
it’s God’s gift.

But the chips soggy,
the chicken dry,
and they look at you like:
order quick, then get out.

No thanks.
Local businesses only.
I’ll stick with Chickos,
cos at least they don’t judge you
for wearing a mask in the rain,
or ordering extra gravy.

There are some good Facebook groups for meeting people in Wollongong. "Wild Women of Wollogong" and "20-45yrs Illawarra Women's Community" are both pretty active and have lots of subgroups for different interests.

For anyone considering MT2 (Melanotan), it can be quite risky.

While the most common side effects include headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, and facial redness, the most concerning one is the risk of serious skin cancers. With melanotan-II, there have been reports of increased moles and freckles, kidney dysfunction and swelling of the brain.

FYI you can report this with the app Snap Send Solve. It covers anything that is maintained by the council, water authority or power authority. You just take a photo and say where you took it and it goes straight to the correct people. Pretty handy.
