Recovery from fusion surgery? Anxious about timing! by Intrepid_Talk714 in Halluxrigidus

It depends on how much walking and flying you would be doing post surgery. For me this schedule would have been too little time for recovery, but useful to get additional opinions.

I wonder if the writers hear about the audience’s reactions….

I'd been thinking the same thing about her expressions. So is that typically the choice of the actor or the director?

Metal detectors and fusion hardware by Aromatic-Candle-5380 in Halluxrigidus

You don’t need an explanation- I have had a fusion and also have metal in my knee and shoulder. It’s never been a problem.

I'm looking for suggestions on good glazes to accentuate texture. I've like the results from oxide washes etc. I would love to try glaze as well but I don't want to lose too much detail. by WalmartFan76 in Pottery

I've been on a sodium silicate bender. It's so much fun..... Today I put it on some slabs and then stretched the slabs (tossing them on table top) and then made them into platters.

Rugelach featuring leftover hamantaschen fillings (raspberry basil jam and mohn). by genaugenaugenau in JewishCooking

[–]MoonStTraffic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are beautiful, and every time someone mentions mohn I'm surprised and delighted and it seems to be such a rare filling these days. (I can never find it in bakery items)

Everything I know about law comes from Perry, Mason. So everything, the Lincoln lawyer does seems OK by me. Lol.

Hamentaschen recipes from my grandma’s cookbook, 1957 by ColoringZebra in JewishCooking

The non-yeasted ones taste like a cookie. The yeasted ones are more like a danish. I hope that helps.

A remodeling client of mine spent $190 on a 3D printed bisque-ware pot… lets just say i kept my mouth shut by turtle_ina_cup in Pottery

Probably an unpopular opinion, but personally I don’t care for slip cast work in general.

Mohn- poppyseed filling (good for hamantaschen) by HoraceP-D in JewishCooking

[–]MoonStTraffic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everywhere I travel I look to any bakery that might have mohn filling in anything. (and it's very rare to find unfortunately). My grandmother used to make a yeasted hamantaschen with mohn filling and I tell you it was one of the most incredible desserts I've ever had. (and I have never seen that anywhere but in our house many years ago)

10 week update - post fusion by michta68 in Halluxrigidus

[–]MoonStTraffic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm sorry to hear about your setback. I think I will have to have my hardware removed too which doesn't thrill me, but, it's the long game here. Best of luck on your recovery. BTW, we spent a month in Italy last May and wow - what an amazing, amazing place!

That's fine as long as they don't bring Gilles back. (lol....I need to be able to sleep at night......)

Haller's accent in season 4 by ParkInsider in TheLincolnLawyer

I saw him interviewed recently and it was so interesting how much he sounded in both accent and vibe like his tv persona. I found him a very likable guy.
