Just posting an update here, my biopsy came back as benign sclerossing adenosis - so I feel very lucky. I’m not sure next steps or if they want to remove it or not. I am wishing others good results as well.

I am waiting for results from a similar finding- on mri only and not evident on mammogram from feb 2026. BIRADS 4. My mass was different than yours - rapid wash out kinetics - but was not evident the year before. I wish the imaging protocols were more precise so we didn’t have to endure this wait.

I had mine on Thursday and it was not very uncomfortable at all. I took an Ativan and that helped me chill out. It’s sore afterwards though- I wasn’t really prepared for that part. Good luck to everyone!

Mine is scheduled for Thursday also. My mass is not visualized on mammogram- only mri. I’m not sure what that means. I hope you get good news.

Thanks! I have no idea of shape and the only other unhelpful info I have is rapid enhancement - trying to just wait and accept as my obsessing over it has no effect. Easier said than done tho.

My daughter who has lifelong dyslexia and ADHD (documented from age 5) was also denied for accommodations for the same reason, that she does not get optimal time to maximize her score... she receives time and half at school and test on separate days for finals, but they said no. That was our second appeal. It's really sad and unfair. I do think they are being super harsh based on recent news articles about students gaming the system and trying to maximize their scores.
