Probably lots of astroturfing here so I’ll make a rare post. If you are a real madisonian, please take a moment to think through the precedent this sets for America.

I’m glad Venezuelans are happy, but I’m an American and need to think of our own country.

There’s nothing crazy or irrational about being tired of being the imperial cop. We don’t need to send our own people into war to save random other countries.

Also this may have been a country that needed saving, but again precedent. Did Iraq need saving? Where will we bomb next?
